Every year, celebrities take to their feed and wish their spouses and let them know how much they value them. Recently, television actor, Karan Patel's wife, Ankita Bhargava turned a year older and her dotting husband penned his heart out. While many of us think they have a love marriage, the truth is their marriage was arranged by Karan's friend and co-star, Aly Goni. He was the one who had played the Cupid and encouraged both the families to take the union forward. And the rest, as we say, is history!
On August 17, 2019, Ankita turned a year older and Karan took to his Instagram to pen a special note for the woman of his life who changed him for the better. The actor posted a picture with his wife, and wrote, "Wishing a very very happy birthday to the woman who changed my life and turned it into a fairytale. Cannot wish for anything less than the best of both worlds for you Jaan. Mere words aren’t enough for me to tell you how much I love you or what you mean to me but I will say this, “You Make Me Want Myself To Become A Better Person Only So That I Can Be Worthy Of Having You”. Coming back to their love story, in an interview with The Asian Age, Karan had shared an interesting detail about his marriage. He had said, "I think this is the first case where the groom met his father-in-law two years even before he could meet his bride! It wasn’t planned. This is a destiny that made it happen. I have a lot to thank my co-star and father-in-law Abhay Bhargava for. He played a crucial role in changing my life for the better by giving my Ankita." Talking about settling for an arranged marriage, Karan had stated, "Well the wildest stallions have proven to be the winning ones provided the right person handles them and Ankita is the ideal one for me. She makes my world perfect. Her calming nature keeps the balance in my life. In retrospect, I think both of us surprised ourselves by deciding to marry in a span of just 1.5 hours. I was not even looking for a match and had a long list about who’s going to be my partner. But it was meant to be — we let our guards down immediately. I was shocked when the rishta was sent to my house. We had never met previously, so I was shocked!"
Karan had also opened up about the moment when he fell in love with the gorgeous, Ankita, "We didn’t even realise we had fallen for each other when we met. It was like two pieces in a puzzle who were waiting to get together. The cupid struck us from the word ‘go’. But if I had to put a finger on it, it would be when I proposed marriage to Ankita. So much so that we couldn’t wait for May 3! We were thinking of running away together and getting married as soon as possible!"
In an interview with TellyChakkar, Karan had revealed how his co-star, Aly played the wingman and had said, "He was the one who got us together. Aly is like a real brother to me and like every family member, he too wanted to see me settled. I don’t know when these things got transpired in his mind, and he introduced us.
