Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre are hitting the headlines off lately, as the cutesy glimpses from their wedding festivities have been winning the hearts of their fans. For the unversed, the duo crossed paths with one another while shooting for a serial and they ended up falling in love. Fast forward to now, the couple is enjoying their pre-wedding festivities in Shrenu’s hometown, Vadodara. On December 20, 2023, the couple hosted a starry engagement ceremony and the glimpses from the same are just unmissable.
Taking to her IG handle, Shrenu’s best friend, Mansi Srivastava dropped an array of inside glimpses from the former’s engagement ceremony. The first glimpse captured the entire wedding squad, along with the bride and groom-to-be, Shrenu and Akshay. We could spot many known faces from the telly world including, Mansi Srivastava with her husband, Kapil Tejwani, Surbhi Chandna, Nehalaxmi Iyer, Advik Mahajan and his wife, Neha among others. The next picture featured a close up capture of Mansi, who looked beautiful in a pink-hued sa. The following glimpse captured Shrenu as she posed with her BFF’s, Mansi and Surbhi.

However, it was the subsequent glimpses that won everyone’s hearts. For her engagement, Shrenu left no stone unturned to make most of her moments. While on one hand she danced with her brother, Shubham Parikh, she also set the stage on fire as she shook a leg with her groom-to-be, Akshay Mhatre. Moreover, in another glimpse, both Shrenu and Akshay could be seen getting emotional as both of their parents surprised them with a dance performance on-stage.
Speaking about the soon-to-be-married couple’s stunning ensembles for the engagement evening, Shrenu looked gorgeous in a purple lehenga, featuring tassel, sequin work and embellishments all over it. She paired it with a matching choli and a sheer dupatta. Glam makeup, diamond jewellery accentuated her overall look. Her soulmate, Akshay Mhatre, on the other hand, looked handsome in a white tuxedo, teamed with black trousers and a matching bow tie.

Back on December 20, 2023, Shrenu Parikh’s haldi ceremony was hosted and the internet was left in awe by the glimpses from the same. The bride-to-be stunned everyone with her hatke entry to the venue, riding a scooty to the along with her groom-to-be, Akshay as her pillion rider. The duo skipped wearing yellow and instead twinned in neon green outfits. Shrenu wore nauvari saree featuring broad floral borders and teamed it with a matching blouse and unique stone-and-pearl-embedded jewellery. A cool pair of sunnies added a quirky factor to her look. Akshay, on the other hand, looked handsome in a matching kurta and pants.
