Shrenu Parikh is one of the most-loved faces in the telly world. The diva rose to fame with some of her exceptional performances in shows like Ishqbaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Ghar Ek Mandir, Ek Bhram-Sarvgun Sampann among others. Currently, the diva is on the seventh heaven, as she is all set to graduate to the next phase of her life. For the unversed, Shrenu will be tying the knot soon with her co-actor and fiance, Akshay Mhatre. And now, the couple revealed some interesting deets about their wedding.
For the longest time, there were rumours about Shrenu and Akshay opting for a December wedding. In an interaction with ETimes, the couple confirmed the exact date and revealed they would be tying the knot on December 21, 2023. Their nuptials will take place in Shrenu’s hometown, Vadodara, which will kickstart with the traditional sangeet, haldi and mehendi functions. The couple revealed:
“We have been preparing for the wedding for quite some time now. We always wanted a close-knit wedding with just our close family friends and relatives in attendance.”

Recently, Shrenu Parikh enjoyed a gala time with her girl gang, including actresses, Mansi Srivastava, Surbhi Chandna and others. Their pictures were, indeed, a proof of the fun that Shrenu had for her bachelor’s trip. And now, when Akshay was asked about his plans of having a bachelor’s party with his friends, he said:
“Yes, I will also be having a small party with my boy gang before we leave for Vadodara. Shrenu and I are leaking forward to this new phase of our lives.”
Back on November 26, 2023, Shrenu Parikh’s BFF and actress, Mansi Srivastava took to her IG handle and dropped several glimpses from the former’s grand bachelorette bash that was held at a club. For her special day, Shrenu could be seen decked up in a silver-hued mini dress that had triangular embellishment motifs on it. She teamed her outfit with a short veil, a dainty tiara and glam makeup. From posing for the lenses gracefully, to munching delicious food, dancing her heart out and posing with her BFF’s, Shrenu made sure to enjoy her special day.

In one of her previous interviews, Shrenu Parikh had talked about keeping her relationship news under wraps for the longest time. For the unversed, she crossed paths with Akshay when they worked for the show, Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki in August 2021. The diva mentioned that how she and Akshay were very sure that they won’t go ahead with their relationship if their parents didn’t agree to it. In her words:
“Being public figures, we didn't want anyone else to tell our parents before we do, or they read it in the newspapers and woh bole kya tum dono committed ho? So we kept it under wraps. We both were quite clear from day one that we will not go ahead with our relationship if our families don't agree to it. Both Akshay and I are family-oriented and similar on this front."
