Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre are currently winning the internet with their breathtaking wedding pictures. The duo got hitched on December 21, 2023, in Vadodara, in the presence of their close family and friends. For the unversed, Shrenu and Akshay crossed paths while working for a show together and it was a case of love at first sight for them. And now, the newlyweds opened up about the first feelings post marriage.
In an interaction with ETimes, the newlywed couple, Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre opened up on their feelings on the new chapter of their lives. Akshay talked about their dreamy wedding ceremony and noted how everything was perfectly done following traditional rituals. Moreover, he talked about manifesting a great life with a perfect partner, a great marriage and kids. In his words:
“It was a beautiful wedding complete with all rituals and traditions. I have always imagined a life with a good companion, marriage and having kids. I am an introvert and a shy guy at heart. Shrenu is someone who is full of energy and pulls me into doing things. I enjoyed dancing at the wedding with her. In many ways she completes me. I feel we strike a good balance and that’s the best part of our companionship. I look forward to spending my life with her.”

Speaking along the same lines, the nayi dulhan, Shrenu Parikh also expressed her feelings about kickstarting this new phase of her life. The actress revealed how she feels her husband, Akshay and his family is the greatest blessing in her life. She further mentioned:
“Every girl dreams about marriage and I am blessed that I have another family now. Akshay and his family have come as blessings in my life. We are blessed and look forward to this new phase in our lives.”
It was on December 21, 2023, when Shrenu dropped the first-ever pictures from her wedding on her IG handle. She looked breathtaking in red and orange-toned lehenga, that featured heavy floral designs etched all over it. She styled it with a half-sleeved, red-hued blouse featuring zari embroidery, and double dupattas. While one of it was pinned over her shoulder, the other was neatly tucked over her head. Akshay, on the other hand, twinned with his bride in a red sherwani teamed with cream-hued pyjamas, turban and a doshala. Along with the pictures, Shrenu wrote:
“Taken forever. 21/12/23"

Back December 20, 2023, Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre’s haldi ceremony was held and the glimpses from the same were unmissable. The then-bride-to-be, Shrenu grabbed all eyeballs with her quirky entry to the venue on a scooty. The couple twinned in neon green ensembles for their pre-wedding ceremony. While Shrenu wore a nauvari saree, Akshay, on the other hand, looked handsome in a matching kurta and pants.
