Television actress, Shrenu Parikh is all set to tie the knot with the love of her life, Akshay Mhatre on December 21, 2023. Their nuptials would take place in Shrenu’s hometown, Vadodara, and the pre-wedding functions have already begun with the traditional mehendi ritual that will be followed by sangeet, haldi, among others. For the unversed, Shrenu rose to fame with her stellar performances in shows like Ishqbaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Ghar Ek Mandir, Ek Bhram-Sarvgun Sampann, among others. On the other hand, Akshay is known for Piyaa Albela, Looose Control and Ghar Ek Mandir.
Taking to her IG handle, on December 19, 2023, Shrenu Parikh shared an array of glimpses from her traditional mehendi ceremony. She radiated a stunning bridal glow in the pictures and was seen flaunting her mehendi-clad hands. We also spotted Shrenu and Akshay's initials on her mehendi design alongside beautiful floral patterns. Sharing the photos, Shrenu wrote a hilarious note talking about the amount of love Akshay has for her. Shrenu's caption can be read as:
“Mehendi rach gayi…Let’s see how much he loves me…!? #LoveAtFirstTake.”

For the traditional mehendi ceremony, Shrenu opted for a green-hued tie-dyed lehenga adorned with butis all over it. She teamed it with a matching stone-embellished tulle blouse with a plunging neckline. Not only that, Shrenu opted for unique floral jewellery, including a neckpiece, matching earrings and a hairband. In addition, she opted for subtle makeup, including highlighted cheeks, nude lipstick, brown smokey eyes, and a wavy open hairdo.
It was on November 26, 2023, when Shrenu Parikh’s BFF and actress, Mansi Srivastava took to her IG handle and dropped a few glimpses from the former’s grand bachelorette bash. Shrenu wore a silver-hued mini dress with triangular embellishments for her special day. She teamed her outfit with a short veil, a cute crown and glam makeup, including blushed and highlighted cheeks, nude lipstick, winged eyes and messy open hairdo. In the pictures, she was seen posing with her girlfriends, munching delicious food, dancing her heart out and enjoying her special day to its fullest.

In one of her old interviews, Shrenu was asked why she kept her relationship news under wraps for the longest time. For the unversed, she met Akshay when they worked for the show Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki in August 2021, and following this, they developed a lovely bond that blossomed into love. Answering the question, the diva mentioned that she and Akshay were sure they wouldn’t go ahead with their relationship if their parents disagreed. She said:
“Being public figures, we didn't want anyone else to tell our parents before we do, or they read it in the newspapers and woh bole kya tum dono committed ho? So we kept it under wraps. We both were quite clear from day one that we will not go ahead with our relationship if our families don't agree to it. Both Akshay and I are family-oriented and similar on this front."
