2017-2018 was a year of celeb weddings. Many A-listed Bollywood actresses tied the knot with their loved ones and all that we did was gape in wonderment about how mesmerising these celeb brides look! Stars like Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Neha Dhupia. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are the few celebs who tied the knot, awed their fans and flaunted their wedding jewellery with utmost pride. As much as many of us wished for it, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took their relationship to the next level by becoming one another’s forever on November 14-15, 2018. The duo got married as per dual wedding rituals- a Konkani and a Sindhi wedding and we were awed over her wedding attire and jewellery. For all of her wedding functions, Deepika and Ranveer had turned to ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and how splendid they both had looked!
Specifically talking about Deepika Padukone in here, like every married woman, the diva took utmost pride in flashing her red chooda, mangalsutra and the big rock on her ring finger. We would often spot Deepika acing her sindoor look like a pro! Not to mention, remember how beautiful she looked when she sported an all-red outfit when she went to work for the first time post her wedding? With sindoor on her forehead and the rock on her finger which had almost made us go blind, Deepika was a treat to the eyes. Also, aforementioned are two other instances wherein Deepika had sported her wedding jewellery and looked amazing!
Breaking many hearts, Priyanka Chopra became ‘Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ on December 01-02, 2018, respectively after the actress got married to her beau, Nick Jonas in two different wedding customs (a Christian and a Hindu wedding). It was always our dream to see as to who would win Priyanka’s hand for marriage, but little did we know that the 36-year-old diva will find love across the salty sea! While we were still continuing to drool over her wedding attires and jewellery, we were mesmerised to see her first look post her wedding, wherein the actress had sported a teal blue saree, but the highlight of her look was her chooda and sindoor and her kundan necklace from her wedding. There have also been multiple instances, wherein Priyanka took full pride in flaunting her sindoor, bangles and not to forget her diamond wedding ring!

While The Zoya Factor actress looked mesmerising in red, it was her exquisite wedding jewellery which had made us swoon! While we totally loved her overdose of jadau jewellery, mangalsutra and her multi-layered maang teeka, her traditional chooda design definitely got a thumbs-up from our side.
And it was then, that Sonam K Ahuja made the best out of her wedding jewellery and looked like a vision, whenever she sported them for functions post her wedding. When the first picture of her as a ‘missus’ came about, we loved how the actress looked beautiful as she flaunted a maang-bhari sindoor, chooda and engagement ring for her cake-cutting ceremony. Soon after, for a function, Sonam’s mangalsutra with her lavender saree, too was a huge hit among the masses.

Although Neha self-admittedly shared in an interview that the duo got married in such a short notice and had bought dresses on ‘returnable basis’, she made for an awesome minimalistic bride. Donning a chooda, engagement ring and simple kundan jewellery, Neha was a treat to the eyes!
Later admitting to the fact that Neha Dhupia was already pregnant before her wedding, the then newbie-bride had worn her wedding chooda for a long time before she entered the mid of her second trimester. We still can’t get over how mesmerising Neha had looked in a Raghavendra Rathore ensemble, with chooda, engagement and fading mehendi- which was one of her first looks post her wedding.
