Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Animal was the biggest blockbuster of 2023, and recently, the makers of the film hosted a success party, which was long overdue. Several celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Neetu Kapoor, and others joined the celebration. While the event was fun-filled and every bit exciting, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to spot that something was off between Alia and Neetu.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt served major couple goals, as they arrived hand-in-hand at Animal's success party. Alia opted for a blue-hued satin slit dress with a plunging neckline. She accessorised her look only with a pair of diamond earrings and a few rings and tied her hair in a low ponytail. On the other hand, Ranbir looked dapper in an all-black pantsuit and matching shoes.

In one of the videos doing rounds on the internet, Alia and Ranbir were seen accompanied by Neetu Kapoor and Mahesh Bhatt, and the family posed for the shutterbugs. Alia was seen walking in the front, followed by Mahesh, whereas Neetu held Ranbir close as they graced the stage. For the photo-op, Ranbir posed while standing between his wife, Alia, and mother, Neetu. However, a Reddit user shared the video with a shocking caption, which can be read as:
"Is it just me or Alia and Neetu look a little awkward with one another? They are making no eye contact with each other."
After the netizen shared the video claiming that Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor didn't make eye contact with each other at Animal's success party, many social media users reacted to it. One user commented, "TBH she was more awkward with her dad. Was avoiding him like a plague." Another wrote, "Bruh if Indian Bahu and Saas are looking too comfortable in public, that's a red flag right there."

Taking to her IG stories, Neetu dropped a clip of Alia’s National Award win and congratulated her for her win. She penned:
