Zeenat Aman is one of the most versatile actresses of her time. She continues to shine in the film industry with her graceful appearance. Even at the age of 71, she is ruling over the heart of millions, courtesy of her pleasant personality. Apart from her professional life, Zeenat often grabs attention for her personal life. For the unversed, she was first married to actor and producer, Sanjay Khan, however, they parted ways within one year of marriage. Later, she tied the knot to the late actor, Manzar Khan. The couple had two sons, Azaan Khan and Zahaan Khan. However, the actress had parted ways from Manzar just before his death in 1998.
On April 10, 2023, the legendary actress, Zeenat Aman took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable throwback picture with her sons, Azaan Khan and Zahaan Khan. In the priceless picture, the young Zeenat can be seen adoring her two little munchkins. On the other hand, her two bundles of joy can be seen enjoying their time on their mother's lap. In the photo, the yesteryear actress looked pretty in a white-hued graphic-printed outfit. On the other hand, their sons looked cute as a button in printed white-coloured ensembles. Sharing the picture, Zeena even penned a long note and talked about the journey of parenthood. In her words:
"There's no guidebook in the world that can really prepare you for parenthood. It's exhilarating, overwhelming, joyous, and yes, challenging."

Further, in her note, Zeenat even opened up about the struggles of being a single parent. Talking about the same, the actress penned that as a single mother to two boys, she felt double responsibility on her shoulders, as she wanted them to be kind and loving men. Further, she stated that as a mother, she always believed in giving unconditional love to her kids. Zeenat also mentioned how she feels disheartened on hearing about people rejecting their kids for their choices and other reasons. Emphasising on the fact that giving support and love to children is important, Zeenat said:
"Once my children were born, they became my sole priority. And as a single mother to two boys, I felt doubly responsible for my babies. More than anything I wanted to protect them, and shape them to be kind and loving men. My approach to motherhood has always rested on the bedrock of unconditional love. When I hear of people rejecting their kids for reasons such as their sexual orientation, choice of partner or desired profession, it fills me with sadness and anger. We must accept our children for the individuals they are and support them to meet life as they choose to."
Zeenat Aman's personal life wasn't a bed of roses. She has gone through a lot of emotional turmoil in her marriage with the late Manzar Khan. Talking about the same, in a conversation with Simi Garewal on her show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, the actress had revealed that her husband, Manzar Khan's family didn't allow her to attend his last rites. She mentioned that his family was trying to punish her for leaving him as they had anger and hatred for her.
