Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani, and Swati Piramal and Ajay Piramal's son, Anand Piramal’s wedding is one of the most awaited weddings of 2018. Reportedly, in a three-day dreamy affair between December 8 and 10, 2018, in Udaipur, Isha and Anand would become each other’s forever. Earlier, we brought you the news that international sensation, Beyoncé would be performing in one of the pre-wedding celebrations.
And now, there is another reason to mark your calendars! As per a report of BollywoodLife, our desi girl and Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra will be performing at Isha and Anand’s sangeet ceremony. The report suggests, “Priyanka might just perform at Isha and Anand's wedding. She shares extremely cordial terms with the family. We saw Nick Jonas and she at Isha's engagement ceremony in Lake Como, Italy. She was also present at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's pre-engagement sangeet bash. Even the Ambanis came for Nick and her engagement party, which was held in Mumbai. The actress loves doing shows live on stage and it is a mega event with a number of celebrated Indian and international artistes”.
Well, celebrities are often seen performing at other celeb’s weddings. Apart from seeing PeeCee rocking the stage, we surely would like to know how much she is getting paid to perform at Isha and Anand’s sangeet. After all, Beyoncé is getting a whopping Rs 15 crores!
According to a Filmfare report, “Isha is a big fan of American singer Beyoncé which is why Mukesh Ambani decided to have the pop star perform at the Sangeet ceremony. Both Anand and Isha are super excited to have the celebrated singer perform at their wedding. Some of Bollywood stars will also be doing a special performance at Isha’s cocktail in Udaipur”.
Recently, from September 21, 2018 to September 23, 2018, Isha and Anand got officially engaged at Lake Como, Italy. Who’s who of Bollywood attended and graced the occasion. The three-day affair saw many international celebrities like American-musician, John Legend and Academy Award-winning musician, AR Rahman perform. For those who do not know, Anand is an entrepreneur and businessman just like his father, Ajay Piramal and his soon-to-be father-in-law, Mukesh Ambani. Anand serves as the Executive Director of Piramal Group and is also the founder of a start-up named, Piramal eSwasthya, a company which deals in healthcare.
Anand shares a friendly bond with Mukesh Ambani. He once revealed in an interview, “I asked him whether I should get into consulting or banking. He told me, ‘Being a consultant is like watching cricket or commentating about cricket while being an entrepreneur is like playing cricket. You can’t learn how to play cricket by commentating. If you want to do something, be an entrepreneur in the long term, and start now”.
Now, coming back to Priyanka Chopra, reportedly even she is getting married in Rajasthan. The venue for her wedding would be a heritage palace in Jodhpur where she would tie the knot with Nick Jonas in a two-day affair on January 14 and 15, 2019.
