For those who chipped in late, on February 2, 2024, a picture note was posted from the actress' official IG stating that she had passed away due to cervical cancer. While the entire industry is in shock, some even are wondering if these reports are true. Amid all this, Poonam Pandey's bodyguard revealed some details about the same.
In an interview with Times Now, Poonam Pandey's bodyguard reacted to the reports about the actress' demise. The bodyguard shared that he was in utter shock with such a report as he had no idea about the actress going through such an illness. The bodyguard also stated that the actress did a shoot on January 31, 2024, with Rohit Verma, which went well, and after that, nothing was scheduled for two days. The bodyguard can be quoted as saying:
“I have no idea what is happening. On January 31, we did a photoshoot with Rohit Verma at Phoenix, and it went well and then for the next 2 days there wasn’t any work planned.”

In the same interview, Poonam Pandey's bodyguard was asked if he had any idea about the diva's illness. To this, he added that he had no idea and the actress never discussed anything with him. Poonam's bodyguard made another shocking claim and stated that the diva's UP home's door is locked, and her family members are not answering their calls:
"No, madam never discussed it with me. I am in shock too. Her UP house has a locked door and after informing them once, none of her family members are answering the call. I am heading to her place to find out more and will keep you updated.”
Another photo of the late actress, Poonam Pandey recently went viral on the discussion platform, Reddit. In the photo, the actress can be seen posing with the celebrity photographer Amit Khanna. The photo was originally shared by the photographer himself, who revealed that he did a shoot with the actress just two days back. As soon as the photo was shared on Reddit, netizens bombarded the comment section. While some users offered their condolences to the late actress, others called it a 'blatant lie'. On the other hand, Poonam Pandey's The Journey of Karma co-star and neighbour, Danish Alfaz reacted to the reports about the actress' untimely demise. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, the actor shared that he was in utter shock after coming across such news, which he first thought to be fake, but later, he checked several websites and came to know that it was not fake news.
