Amidst the fever of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding, is the craziness of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding too. Two of the most loved and stunning damsels are going to be officially taken by the end of this blissful year 2018. Unlike Deepika and Ranveer, Priyanka and Nick have not made any official announcement regarding their wedding. If reports are to be believed, Nickyanka (as their fans fondly call them), will tie the knot on December 1, 2018. The pre-wedding celebrations might start from November 30, 2018 itself.
Also, the couple and their families have locked down Jodhpur as their wedding venue. As per a DNA report, “Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, wants to have a traditional Indian wedding for her daughter. So, there will be a mehendi and sangeet ceremonies on November 30 and December 1. PC and Nick are planning to fly down their closest buddies for their big moment. They have locked two venues in Jodhpur for the three-day function”. Now, as per the latest report by Pinkvilla, Nick is all set to surprise his bride with a lovely singing performance on the celebration of their sangeet ceremony. For this heart-warming surprise for his lady-love, Nick has also reportedly got his troupe on board. Allegedly, it is going to be a 45-minutes-long performance by Nick, wherein, he is expected to sing a few romantic songs.
A source has been quoted as saying, “Nick will be performing with his troupe at the sangeet. It is tentatively a 45 mins performance where he will be singing some love songs for PeeCee. Parineeti Chopra, who is super-excited even than the to-be bride and groom, will also be giving some mind-blowing dance performances. Pari herself was quoted as saying, “I would do Desi Girl, Tune Mari Entriyaan, Ram Chahe Leela-Leela Chahe Ram, basically all my favourite tracks, and In My City. An English song for the Jonases so that unko bhi samajh aaye kaunsa gaana hum log kar rahe hain. And one I would do Nick’s song; his new song Right Now is very good.”
As per the latest reports, Priyanka will be inviting Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and a few other close celeb friends for her wedding. The wedding invitation cards will be dispatched in the mid of November. An online portal quoted a source as saying, “Besides Salman, invitations will also be sent out to Arpita-Aayush, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail-Seema, Alvira-Atul Agnihotri and Salim Khan. The couple plans to host a 3-day grand celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur and 1500-2000 guests are expected to turn up.” Moreover, as per the reports, the wedding invitation cards will be dispatched in the mid-November. The wedding is speculated to take place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. On the same note, a media portal quoted a source as saying, “Nick and Priyanka were recently in India and had even gone to Jodhpur. That was when they decided the gorgeous Umaid Bhawan to be their dream wedding venue. They will have a limited guest list of 200 people with only their close friends and family in attendance. Since a lot of their Hollywood friends are settled in New York, PC is quite excited to have her bridal shower there followed by a grand wedding in Jodhpur”. Sharing how it all started between Nick and her, the Quantico actress had stated, “I actually didn’t make the first move - he did. He texted me. The first time was a text and just saying, ‘I think we should connect,’ and whatever and that’s how we started talking”. And further added, “This is such a wonderful new step in my life and I’m still getting used to it because it’s obviously been a whirlwind and I haven’t seen myself happier”.
