Recently, the couple has been shooting a special episode for the show, and Mohsin treated his fans with an exclusive sneak-peak of it. He took to his Instagram handle and posted an Insta story with Shivangi. In the picture, Mohsin and Shivangi can be seen twinning in grey and showing off their immense love for each other. Recently, Mohsin confessed in an interview of being a true fan of his on-screen chemistry with Shivangi. He said, “In fact, it is not only me. Shivangi is also crazy about Kaira. We both have watched every episode of Kaira nearly 2 to 3 times. We actually remember everything from the sequences of Kaira. We are now close to 900 episodes and nearly 3 years of being in the show. But trust us when we say that we have watched our episodes so many times. Even today, we gear up to watch the beginning to our love story. It helps us identify the graph the characters have had. It will not be right if I say that we both have created the magic of Kaira. Mohsin and Shivangi’s love for each other is not just limited to the small screen! In an interview with the leading news agency, Mohsin confirmed being in a relationship with his co-actor, and revealed, “Several theories have been doing the rounds, including our link-up, but we didn't allow it to affect our friendship or work. In fact, there was nothing to talk about initially, since we were just friends. Our friendship graduated to love only recently. It's just been a month and a half. We rang in the New Year with my family. Funnily, we haven't gone out on an official date yet, owing to our erratic schedule.”
Mohsin also opened up about what made him fall in love with his on-screen wife in real life. He had stated, “Shivangi's innocence made me fall for her. We are still exploring each other. In another interview, Mohsin talked about his equation with Shivangi. He remarked, “I am grateful that Shivangi and I got to work together. People accepted Kartik and Naira instantly and loved them. We have always enjoyed working together. We often get messages on all social media platforms and I try to reply to as many as possible.”
Mohsin strongly believes in the fact that a successful on-screen and off-screen relationship requires a great friendship. He had stated, “Great friendship, comfort level and understanding are the key ingredients for great on-screen chemistry. I got lucky to have a co-star like Shivangi. We are very comfortable with each other; be it on-screen or off-screen. We are extremely good friends well.” He further added, “And because we share such a great friendship, that is what translates on-screen for (the characters) Kartik and Naira.
