On February 26, 2019, Biapasha’s sister, Vijayeta took the wedding vows with her long-time beau, Karan Talreja in a typical Bengali wedding. The lavish wedding was then followed by a grand reception party on February 26, 2019. Sharing her gudiya’s bridal look, Bipasha revealed that Vijayeta wore her bridal dupatta on her wedding day. Along with the below picture, she penned, “My Gudiya. Stunning Bride (my sweet sister used my bridal dupatta for her wedding too).”
Ever since the big event took place in Basu family, the doting elder sister has been sharing the videos and pictures from Vijayeta and Karan’s wedding. In one of her Instagram stories, Bipasha shared a video, while the kanakanjali ceremony is going on. For the ones who don’t know, kanakanjali is a ritual performed by bride’s brother who gives her the kanak, while the bride devotes it to the agni. Sharing the lovely video of the ceremony, Bipasha captioned the story as, "@iamksgofficial is an adorable and super loving brother to my little @vi_basu”, followed by a heart emoji. In a media interaction when Karan was asked about their family planning, the Dill Mill Gayye star said, “We have not started planning yet”. Sharing his views on the rumours surrounding Bipasha's pregnancy, Karan had shared, “I don't react to it anymore because if she is pregnant, then I would be the first person to know. But I think, what is happening these days is that everyone is running on speculations ke ab kya hai they love each other then it's been so much time together. Revealing how Karan proposed to her, Bipasha had remarked, “Well, I believed in marriage, but I never thought I would get married. So, when he proposed, my first reaction was... 'what are you telling me?' And…” Instantly, Karan interrupted and remarked, “Let me complete the story for you. We were in Koh Samui, it was December 31 and the sky was lit with fireworks. I was carrying the ring with me and something told me that this is the right time. So, while she was capturing the fireworks on video, I took the opportunity and gave her the ring.”
In another interaction, Bipasha was seen all-praises for her in-laws and was quoted as saying, “Karan's family is very accepting, and I had started talking to them on facetime long before the wedding. Over the last two to three years, his parents have seen him change as a person, for the better. He had a lot of baggage around him, but slowly the choices that he made for himself started changing and his parents saw him coming back into his own self again. It is like starting life from scratch. These choices require a lot of strength.
