Ever since Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor welcomed their second baby, the internet has been obsessed with the Junior Kapoor. Shahid and Mira have always showered us with an overdose of cuteness by sharing photos of their adorable two-year-old baby girl, Misha Kapoor. So, we all have been eagerly waiting and checking their social media handles for a glimpse of the new addition in Kapoor family, their newborn baby boy, Zain Kapoor. While Shahid and Mira have been busy and are on cloud nine ever since the nanha mehmaan came into their lives, we are waiting for a picture of their two little munchkins in one frame together. And finally, to our delight, Mira posted an Insta story of 'big sister', Misha standing by her baby brother's crib and the two are sharing their own lovely moment together. This capture will surely leave you with a smile on your face.
Isn’t it a super-duper cute picture of Kapoor siblings? On September 7, 2018, Shahid announced the name of their newborn son, and tweeted, “Zain Kapoor is here and we feel complete. Thank you for all the wishes and blessings. We are overjoyed and so grateful. Love to all.” In Arabic, the name Zain means grace and beauty.
The elated second-time grandfather and grandmother shared their happiness when Zain entered their lives. Speaking to a media portal, Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur said, “I am very delighted that a new bundle of joy has come to our house. A baby being born in any house is a matter of sheer joy and excitement. Similarly, it is a moment of joy for our family and as the grandfather of the newborn, I am delighted and very proud of my family. I wish Shahid and Mira all the very best and many congratulations.”
Giving his blessings to the ‘family of four’, he further added, "It’s the most delightful thing that can happen to any family. Shahid’s family is now complete. God bless all of them. Neelima Azeem also revealed how ‘big sister’ Misha reacted to the arrival of her baby brother. She stated, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely. All the credit goes to Mira and Shahid."
In July 2018, there were reports that Shahid and Mira have bought a duplex worth Rs 55.60 crore in upscale Worli, Mumbai. Shahid and Mira along with Misha and Zain are currently living at the Praneta building, Juhu Tara Road, a sea-facing abode befitting their status. But it is still unknown when they will shift to their new abode.
Speaking about their new ‘home sweet home’, Shahid had shared in an interview earlier, “I have bought a new home in Central Mumbai. It will be a year-and-a-half, perhaps even two, before we do the interiors and move in there. However, it’s an investment that I needed to make. I have a much smaller home in Juhu and with two children (the second one arriving in September), the requirement of the family has changed.”
Before Zain’s birth, Shahid opened up about his excitement of becoming a father for the second time and how it feels. Shahid had remarked, “Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so I feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder.
