Madhuri Dixit is all geared up to see how her first Marathi film, Bucket List performs at the box-office. Released on May 25, 2018, the film has been directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and also stars Renuka Shahane and Sumeet Raghavan. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, as part of promotions for her film, Madhuri Dixit answered pretty interesting questions that are searched on Google about her. From her address to her phone number, she answered it all wittily.
The most eye-catchy element of the interview was when she answered how did she meet her husband, Dr Sriram Nene and her first reaction on meeting him. Answering the first, she disclosed that she met Dr Nene by chance and also by the cunningness of her brother in LA.
Talking about her first reaction when Madhuri met Dr Nene, she revealed, “It was very wonderful because I was very surprised to know that he didn’t know that I am an actress and I work in Hindi film. Earlier, in an interview with the Indian Express, Dr Nene had revealed his first reaction when he met Madhuri for the first time. He was quoted as saying, “You know the film industry here, is crazy. So, I didn’t know how she would be when I first heard of her. But then I met her brother; he was so grounded and humble. And then I met her”.
To this, Madhuri added, “After we met, he asked, ‘will you come mountain biking with me?’ and I thought it will be fine, there’s a mountain and you have to bike. But upon reaching the mountain I realised it’s very difficult. At one point I told him, ‘I can’t do it’. He asked me, ‘You don’t know mountain biking?’”.
In another interview, Dr Nene revealed the reason behind their successful marriage, “We strike the right balance. She has always been grounded. I am the dreamer and adventurer. She has taught me patience and I have taught her organisation”.

Once, Madhuri was asked as to why she left her acting career at the peak, she beautifully replied, “Because I was in love”.
Coming back to Madhuri’s film, Bucket List, she recently said, “It not only gives you hope and inspiration but also encourages you to live life in the true sense. The most fascinating factor for me to choose it is that it is going to carve a niche in everyone’s heart”.
For the uninitiated ones, it must be noted here that Dr Nene is Madhuri’s brother, Ajit Dixit’s friend. It was her brother who played Cupid between the two. After their first meeting and going steady for three months, they decided to tie the nuptial knot on October 17, 1999. They have two sons- Arin and Rayaan.
