It is the season of weddings in the Ambani house. Isha’s groom-to-be, Anand Piramal is the son of the billionaire, Ajay Piramal. Their engagement ceremony was a larger-than-life affair and who’s who of Mumbai, who is close to Ambanis, was a part of the celebrations. Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Gauri Khan etc attended the engagement ceremony of Isha and Anand. Anand went down on his knees and proposed marriage to Isha in Mahabaleshwar. Isha and Anand have been friends for years now as Piramals and Ambanis are friends for more than 40 years now. Isha and Anand are expected to tie the know in December 2018.
We recently came across a video from Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s grand engagement party in Mumbai. In the video, Isha’s granny, Kokilaben Ambani is saying beautiful words for her granddaughter on the day of her engagement. Take a look at the video:
Though Kokilaben is saying something in Gujarati, we can still make out what she is saying. Kokilaben is narrating a very cute incident to Isha. Kokilaben shares that when Isha was born to the time she turned 6 months old, her grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani used to wake up and go directly to her room to see her face. He would refuse to have his morning tea until he saw Isha’s face. This is how much he loved her. Isha was her grandparents, Dhirubhai and Kokilaben’s favourite grandchild, always, so Kokilaben got a little emotional on Isha’s engagement ceremony.
Isha is lucky to have the love of her grandmother and her family’s affection. We wish Isha and Anand a lifetime of happiness and love!
