Famous television couple from Color TV’s Sasural Simar Ka, Prem and Simar aka Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar decided on forever, recently. The couple walked down the aisle on February 22, 2018, in a close-knit ceremony in Shoaib’s hometown, Bhopal. It was a pleasant surprise for all their fans and even a few of their industry friends. On March 22, 2018, the newly-weds celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary. On this beautiful occasion, the couple got a lovely surprise from Shoaib’s family. They brought a cake and decorated the living room with pink and white balloons. The actress and nayi duhan herself took to Instagram and posted a family picture and captioned it as, "My Family!!! The one-month completion called for this surprise cake cutting in Ammis house where I was absolutely clueless that this cute little surprise was cooking Small moments create greatest memories." Dipika and Shoaib are very much in love and perfectly redefine the meaning of love. They leave no stone unturned to make each other feel special and happy. In fact, ever since the two got married, Dipika as an obedient wifey has been waiting for Shoaib’s honeymoon surprise that he has planned. She quipped, “Since he was so busy, I, along with my gang of girls, made some plans, shortlisted a couple of destinations, and checked ticket prices, too. But then my dear hubby asked me to wait, as he wants to give me a ‘very good’ surprise and wants to make our honeymoon super memorable for me. And, like an obedient wife, I am quietly waiting now."
Shoaib further added on to this and said, "Yes, because she has no option now. I am planning something for her, and to get something extra special, you need to wait. So Inshallah, our honeymoon will be very soon and a special one.” Apart from their hush-hush desi style wedding, another thing that grabbed the attention is Dipika’s Islam conversion. Actually, she changed her name to Faiza. Talking about it, Dipika had earlier said, "It wasn’t tough at all because it was completely my decision. Jab aap koi bhi cheez poorey dil se accept karke uska decision khud lete ho, toh mushkil hone ka toh sawal hi nahin hota. It’s something that I have willingly done, so there’s no question about it being tough."
And hubby Shoaib defended her patni and quoted, “Trust me, both of us are just not bothered about what people say. We know we haven’t done any wrong and so we don’t focus on this negativity. When there’s low in our lives, do these people come as a saviour? No, so who has given them the right to talk about us. Our marriage was so beautiful that some haters decided to pick a subject to demean it, but it really didn’t affect us.”
