The Ambani house is already geared up for not only one but two weddings. Topping it all was the rumours of Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani’s engagement to Radhika Merchant. Weeks after Mukesh and Nita Ambani announced the engagement of their daughter Isha Ambani to Anand Piramal, rumours started doing the rounds of Anant’s engagement when one of his pics with Radhika went viral. The picture where we could see Radhika hugging Anant went viral adding fuel to the fire. Well now, Reliance Industries spokesperson has come out in open and cleared the air. The spokesperson has dismissed the rumours and told Business Today, “Anant Ambani is not engaged yet.” Nita Ambani had told Bombay Times earlier, “Mukesh and I have given very strong foundation to our kids and even larger wings to fly - they have the freedom to take decisions for themselves and of course, choose whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with. Marrying the one you love is gratifying and heart-warming.”
To tell you all about Anant alleged fiancé, Radhika Merchant, she is a 24-year-old girl, who has done her graduation in Political Sciences from the New York University. She has done her schooling from Mumbai’s Cathedral and John Connon School and École Mondiale World School before completing her IB Diploma from BD Somani International School. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are friends for a long time and are reportedly pretty close to each other. In fact, on Isha Ambani’s engagement, she was seen performing with Akash Ambani’s fiancé Shloka Mehta and Isha. The trio could be seen performing on the famous Padmaavat song, Ghoomar. Moreover, even if Anant and Radhika are not engaged yet, they might soon exchange rings. The reason why we are speculating so is because of the fact that Radhika accompanied Ambani family when they recently visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai soon after Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's engagement. This clearly tells that the girl is close to the family and she is being given the respect of a daughter-in-law already.
Prior to this, Anant Ambani hit the headlines, courtesy his drastic transformation. He lost whopping 108 kilos in less than 18 months, which took the internet by storm. To motivate and give his son company, Nita Ambani too went on diet. She was quoted as saying, “A child does what his mother does, so I couldn't be seen eating while putting him on a diet. So, I went on a diet along with Anant. Whatever he ate, I ate. Whenever he exercised, I did too.
