There is no denying the fact that celeb life is not that easy. Whatever they do, wherever they go and who they take along all stay under the scanner of media as well as their fans. One of the actresses who has many times been criticised is none other than the most gorgeous and ever-so-beautiful Aishwarya Rai. Not just an actress, Aish (as her fans and loved ones call her) is also a doting mom. And we spot Aishwarya most of the times with her darling daughter, Aaradhya for which she has been targeted.
Just like that, on March 26, 2018, Ambanis hosted a grand post-engagement party for their son Akash Ambani and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta. It was a star-studded affair and who’s who from the tinsel town and cricket world were present. Right from Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar, as well as cricketers Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh amongst many others, were seen at the scintillating soiree. But what grabbed everyone’s attention was Aishwarya came along with little daughter Aaradhya at an adult event. People started targeting her for taking along such a small kid to the party when she had her school the very next day.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, a guest who was present at the post-engagement party said, “There were other children invited too and that only a handful know is that it was Nita Ambani who specifically invited Aaradhya to the party. Imagine how many people are lucky to get invited to the Ambanis party! When Nita called to personally invite Ash, Nita requested the actress to get Aaradhya too because a small ballet was being presented by some young children at the party. She told Aishwarya that she wanted Aaradhya to enjoy the ballet as the child’s school was closed anyway for spring. Who better than Nita to know that as she’s the Founder and Chairperson of the same school (Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai) that Aaradhya goes to. She would hardly invite the little girl on a school night for an adult party. Also, Nita’s mother Kokilaben is extremely fond of Aaradhya and always gives her extra stuff like toffee and candies whenever they meet.”
Not just this, people even picked little Aaradhya for repeating her pretty pink outfit. Since the theme of the party was all pink and hearts, Aish made Aaradhya repeat her lovely dress (what’s wrong!). On this note, the guest was quoted as saying, “Aaradhya had worn the pink dress on the red carpet at the 70th Cannes Film Festival last year and so what if she wore it again at the engagement party? Aaradhya’s outfit at Cannes was one of the customised looks of designers Gauri & Nainika who had worked together with Aishwarya’s stylist Aashtha Sharma. Even Ash repeats her clothes. She has repeatedly said in her interviews that she is a normal human being and if she has invested so much in an outfit, whether hers or Aaradhya’s, why would she throw it out after one wear? At Antilia, Aishwarya wore a strapless Osman gown and paired it with a matching black Ferragamo satin clutch while Aaradhya looked pretty in the formal pink, Gauri & Nainika dress with a ruffled trim and pink headband.”
For the ones who don’t know, the richest man Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani got engaged to diamantaire Russell Mehta’s daughter, Shloka Mehta in a close-knit affair in Goa on March 24, 2018. Right after this happy and cherishable occasion, the doting parents, Mukesh and Nita hosted a star-studded and grand engagement party on March 26, 2018, at their home, Antilla. If the reports are to be believed, the wedding of the lovebirds will take place between December 8 and December 12 in Mumbai.
