1994 Miss World title winner, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has proved her mettle in acting not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood films. With her stunning looks, dancing moves and outstanding acting skills, she still knows how to swoon millions of hearts. For the unversed, she had tied the knot with Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. And in 2011, they had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
Even after having such a marvellous career span and giving one after the other hit films, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also had to face massive trolling and harshness from the world. Time and again, netizens had not loved her looks and have badly trolled her for opting such out-of-the-box fashion picks. At times, she has also made to the headlines for her super protective nature towards her daughter, Aradhya Bachchan and many more. However, without paying any heed to it, she kept on giving one after the other sartorial looks.
Recently, we stumbled upon a rare picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's passport, and undoubtedly, the fashion diva looked stunning in that picture also unlike everyone else. Aishwarya's passport featured the diva from her young days, and she looked gorgeous. Though her look was loved by many, it again came under the radar of trollers who asked for her Aadhar card picture and badly trolled her.
One user wrote, "Aadhar wali achhi hai to batao to hi manenge." Another netizen commented, "Who don't look good wearing makeup." Global icon, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is known for her savage replies and strong personality. In a 2018 interview with The Indian Express, Aishwarya had opened up about the negative criticisms she had faced over the years at the different phases in her life. She had said that these trolls carrying negativity within it maintain a balance with the positivity she has received throughout her life. However, with time, she had already formed a mindset which only focuses on positivity. She had said:
“Even in various phases of life, there has been a negativity which is a good balance to offset the immense amount of positivity I have received at various phases of my life and whether it’s in your school life, student life, college life or joining the movies. I think I have very early in life developed the ability to focus on the positives. When you do that, and you recognized that there is just so much more, it is really easier to wash away the natural pain that every human being experiences, even with the slightest negativity. We are all human. We all go through the sting, but the truth is that only we can develop the ability for ourselves to try and withstand that or negate it or brush it aside or take it on your chin.”
Further in the conversation, Aishwarya Rai had revealed the mantra she uses to deal with the trolls. Talking about the same, Aishwarya had shared that being brutally honest with oneself can help in self-healing and facing negativity. She had added:
“It is really about your perspective and your outlook, and I know that it is easier said than done for many and immensely tough for many, and that’s why I probably keep like a mantra going on that we have to be our own best friend. By that I mean, brutally honest with yourself and in doing so, we can self-help. We can self-heal and we can face and hold on to our own sense of self.”
