Sunita recently exited the Netflix reality series on July 11, 2026, due to some health issues. While Sunita’s return to the show is not confirmed yet, she has recently opened up about the reasons behind her frequent use of abusive words in a latest interview.
Although, Sunita Ahuja has left Lock Upp 2, she has continued creating headlines with her interviews, where she has shared a lot of things about herself, including the fact that she does not prefer to listen and avoid if an individual is being disrespectful.
In a new interview after her exit from Lock Upp 2, Sunita Ahuja justified the use of abusive words, addressing why it is the right choice to respond if another individual provokes her. Sunita said during the conversation:
“Mujhe ek baat bataiye, agar aapko koi aake gaali dega toh aap kya bologe, ‘Bhaiya aapne ek diya mujhe, aapko do deta hoon, aap do aur de do?’ Itni toh bewakoof nahi hoon na main. Agar aapko koi ungli karega toh aap kya bolenge, ‘Bhaiya aur kar lo?’ Nahi na, bilkul.”
Furthermore, Sunita asked other women to take a stand for themselves. She said that she is not one of those who is going to sit and tolerate for a long time. She continued by saying:
“Main isse sab auraton ko yahi bolti hoon ki bhaiya apni zindagi jiyo aur apne liye jiyo. Kya galat bolti hoon? Aur kaun si aurat gaali nahi deti hai, aap mujhe yeh batao?”
As mentioned, Sunita Ahuja left Lock Upp 2 on July 11, 2026. Notably, the episode featured Govinda and Tina Ahuja as guests. Sunita’s exit was a voluntary decision, and while speaking to host Farah Khan, she said that she wanted to explore the world of reality shows and realised that it was not made for her.
Sunita also informed Farah that she was feeling unwell and her diabetes was not under control. She revealed that she has been requesting to leave the show as she was feeling anxiety due to menopause, alongside chest pain and breathing problems. Sunita later opened up on how she was feeling after her exit from the show and said:
“I am better now that I have come out. My journey on the show was very good. I made so many friends. All the young kids were my friends, and Ram Kapoor became my best buddy. Had my health not deteriorated, I would have continued with the show.”
Sunita recalled that when she was on the show, the doctor checked her sugar thrice. She clarified that she never abused the makers, adding that her mind had stopped working due to her health issues. Sunita said that at one point, she was getting diet food, considering her diabetes.
Sunita expressed gratitude to the hosts, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, saying that the latter reminded her of her son, Yash. Sunita additionally thanked Netflix and Ekta Kapoor. She said that although she was willing to do more projects with Netflix, she cannot return to reality shows because of her health.
