After that, Vicky and Salman graced the green carpet of IIFA in Abu Dhabi. While talking to the media there, Vicky reacted to the viral video and called it 'unnecessary chatter'. Now what grabbed all the attention was when another video from the green carpet of IIFA went viral, where Salman and Vicky were seen hugging each other. And undoubtedly, the video is bringing a lot of traffic and winning the hearts of millions.
A video shared by a paparazzo handle showed Vicky indulging in an interview on the green carpet of IIFA, and at that moment, Salman arrived. Soon after that, the latter went forward to Vicky and hugged him. Then, they both shook hands and talked for a few seconds. Undoubtedly, it grabbed all the attention after all the fiasco that took place the day before.

For the unversed, Vicky joined IIFA to host the show, whereas Salman was there to attend the show as a guest. Vicky looked dapper as he sported a black suit and paired it with a deep black printed coat. Salman, on the other hand, stole the show with his all-black avatar. The actor opted for a black suit and paired it with a light-printed black coat. Both the actors looked handsome. And undoubtedly, their bond over the hug made it the 'moment of the night'.

On May 26, 2023, a video of Salman's bodyguard pushing Vicky away took the whole internet down. The viral video showed Salman Khan arriving at the event. Vicky was seen taking selfies with his fans. However, when he was about to greet Salman, the latter's bodyguard blocked him from doing so. The video went massively viral, and fans started to slam such behaviour. Reacting to the video, one user wrote, "That was arrogant, rude asf.. but, Damn...! Talk about star power… Vicky was bulldozed aside like he was no one." Another netizen commented, "Man the arrogance...Vicky was showing respect by putting his hand forward."

A day After the video of Salman Khan's bodyguard pushing Vicky away went viral on the internet, Vicky finally reacted to it. While talking with the media, the actor shared that sometimes some things are not the same as they appeared. He said talking about such incidents is pointless as it is unnecessary chatter. Vicky stated:
"A lot of times there is unnecessary chatter about things. There’s no point about it. Things don’t actually are as they seem in the video. There is no point in talking about that.”
