Donna Mills revealed her reason for never getting married
Donna Mills shared the reason for not getting married on the Still Here Hollywood Podcast. She revealed that she had always been independent. For many years, Donna was in a relationship with singer Richard Holland. Later, she fell in love with Larry Gilman, and they have been together since 2001.
However, Donna shared that no one ever got down on one knee. The 85-year-old revealed that when she met Larry, she was established and she never thought of combining everything, so they decided to combine their lives but not the finances. She said:
"I don’t remember anyone ever getting down on one knee I am so freaking independent. I just am. I’m very independent and by the time Larry and I met we were both pretty established. To combine everything at that point is really difficult. So we just combined our lives but not our finances and stuff like that. It’s much cleaner, much better."
Donna also revealed that she had a conversations about not getting married with her daughter, whom she has adopted when she was 54 years old. The actress added that Chloe got married and also gave birth, and now she is a grandmother. She shared that it wasn't easy for her to combine her assets after twenty years.
In July 2026, Donna Mills left everyone shocked by making her debut on OnlyFans. She revealed that she has no fear of being the oldest creator on the adult content creation website, which is known for its paid subscription. She shared that she has been in the business for 50 years. She wanted to have conversation directly with the people, and said:
"Honey, I’ve been in this business over 50 years…I’ve seen every trend come and go. When something new comes along that lets me talk directly to the people who’ve stuck with me since ‘Knots Landing,’ why wouldn’t I jump in? My fans are going to see the real me: the good hair days, the bad hair days, and everything in between."
Donna added that people often ask her why she felt like joining OnlyFans at the age of 85, but she believes that life is too short ot sit on the sidelines. She added that it was her way of giving love to her fans and to let them know she is a little closer. Last month, Donna revealed the types of requests she gets from her fans which included workout videos. Donna talked about the reason for joining OnlyFans, and said:
"The support and encouragement my fans have shown me over the years has meant the world to me. While social media has been a great way to keep in touch, I’m thrilled to be joining OnlyFans, where I can connect with people in a more personal, direct way."
