Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleUS Representative Lauren Boebert is currently in hot water. As of September 2026, she is facing explosive allegations of getting involved in physical relationships with multiple staffers, both male and female. Notably, this comes just two months after her son, Tyler Boebert was arrested on charges of child sexual exploitation, in relation to a 2022 issue involving his then-17-year-old girlfriend. Lauren, whose personal life is currently in a mess, reacted to the allegations against her.
Lauren Boebert has been hit by a sworn House Ethics Committee complaint, alleging that she had inappropriate physical relationships with three current and former congressional staffers. The filing was made in September 2026 and has led to intense scrutiny of the US Rep. According to the House Code of Official Conduct, supervisors becoming intimate with employees who report directly to them is considered a violation of the rules.
The complaint against Lauren was submitted by David Wheeler, the founder of the political activist group American Muckrakers. As per the court filing, she was accused of sleeping with two female staffers and one male staffer. The individuals named in reports are current District Chief of Staff Raven Finegan, former Chief of Staff Jeffrey Small, and former staffer Clarice Navarro.
Lauren was also accused of offering Clarice USD 200,000 in hush money in 2025 to prevent him from filing an independent ethics complaint. The Colorado congresswoman recently reacted to the claims by sharing her stance through her spokesperson. Lauren's representative told Us Weekly that she vehemently denied the allegations levied against her, calling them "utterly false."
Lauren Boebert reportedly viewed the allegations of having intimate relationships with multiple staffers as a "politically motivated stunt" aimed to malign her. According to her spokesperson, she considered that the entire affair narrative was created to "manipulate the ethics process" for publicity. Lauren felt that the coverage around the "baseless accusations" against her was simply meant to generate sensational clickbait content and cash on it. Her spokesperson stated:
"Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever. This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait."
Lauren Boebert's representative took a dig at David Wheeler, claiming that the report was filed by someone who himself has a history of spreading falsehoods. They added that the accusations were generated from previously recycled sensational cases and would turn out to be false if fact-checked. The spokesperson was quoted by Us Weekly as saying:
"[These accusations] come from an activist who has long recycled sensational claims, including numerous baseless accusations previously fact-checked as false."
About two months before Lauren's Ethics Committee row, her 21-year-old son, Tyler Boebert faced explosive charges of child sexual exploitation and was detained on August 9, 2026. Notably, that arrest was the latest in a series of criminal charges and legal troubles he faced since 2022.
Tyler was detained in Garfield County, Colorado, for five felony counts and reportedly released on the same day in lieu of a USD 10,000 surety bond. The charges against him stemmed from an alleged 43-second video recorded on January 1, 2024, involving his then-17-year-old girlfriend.
