Perez Hilton's livestream has left everyone shocked. However, while he is recovering in the hospital, his family has issued another statement confirming what happened before the TikTok live.

The blogger kept yelling, "This is what you wanted," while cutting himself across his body. He appeared to be completely naked and even invited some viewers to join the livestream while continuing to harm himself.
Soon the cops were called to his address, and they were able to disengage the blogger, eventually getting him to the hospital. However, as he recovers, his family has shared another statement about what happened before the livestream and answering the most asked question: where were Perez Hilton's three children when the bloody live happened?
Perez Hilton's family has been sharing updates on the blogger's website since after he was hospitalized on the night of August 4, 2026 (ET). And on August 6, 2026 (ET), the family was back with another update. Perez is currently recovering in the hospital; the family previously updated that he was now able to communicate. However, the security around him remained tight. In the recent update, the blogger's family once again expressed their gratitude towards the people who have shown up to support Perez in this difficult time.
They further revealed that they "cannot express our continued gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received during this incredibly difficult time." While admitting how unbearable the past several days have been for the family, the statement shared that Perez Hilton's children were in the house before the livestream happened. However, they managed to leave before things got bad. The statement read:
"The events of the past several days have been nearly unbearable for our family. Just minutes before the public livestream incident, Perez’s children, niece, and sister were inside the home. When it became clear that Perez was experiencing a severe mental health crisis and harming himself, they immediately fled to protect the children from witnessing any further trauma."
For the unversed, Perez Hilton is a father to three children named Mario Armando Lavandeira III, Mia Alma, and Mayte Amor. He welcomed all three of his children via surrogacy. According to reports, Mario Armando Lavandeira III was born in February 2013 via a gestational surrogate. Perez then welcomed his second child, Mia Alma Lavandeira, in June 2015, followed by his youngest, Mayte Amor Lavandeira, born in October 2017.
The statement further shared that at the moment, Perez Hilton's children's well-being was of their highest priority. They admitted that the children will need time to heal from what they saw. The statement read:
"Our highest priority right now is helping the children begin to heal from what they experienced. An important part of that process is allowing them to safely return home and begin rebuilding a sense of security and normalcy."
Further, Perez Hilton's family also asked members of the media, influencer community, and even the general public to leave the area and not return. The family shared that this was for the well-being of the kids. The family asked people to give space to the children and said:
"For the children’s safety, privacy, and well-being, we respectfully ask members of the media, paparazzi, content creators, and the public to leave the area surrounding the family’s home and not return. Please allow his children the privacy and space they need during this unimaginably difficult time."
