Meet Perez Hilton's three children
Perez Hilton has been hogging the headlines following the alarming livestream on TikTok on August 4, 2026 (ET). While the blogger has now been taken to the hospital, netizens have begun to express their concerns about his children's whereabouts. For the unversed, Hilton is a father to three children named Mario Armando Lavandeira III, Mia Alma, and Mayte Amor. Fortunately, they were reportedly not at home when the incident took place.
Talking about the kids, Perez Hilton is an openly gay man and a single father. He welcomed all three of his children via surrogacy. According to reports, Hilton welcomed his first child, Mario Armando Lavandeira III, in February 2013 via a gestational surrogate. He then welcomed his second child, Mia Alma Lavandeira, in June 2015, followed by his youngest, Mayte Amor Lavandeira, born in October 2017.

Perez Hilton often shares updates about his personal and family life on his official Perez Hilton Website and social media channels. However, he keeps them away from the camera lens. Nonetheless, talking about his parenthood journey, Hilton revealed in one of his videos that all his kids are his, genetically. He shared, "Each was born thanks to the generosity of a different surrogate, using eggs from the same anonymous donor."
According to reports, all three of Perez Hilton's children were born by gestational surrogacy. For the unversed, a gestational surrogate is a woman who carries and delivers a baby but shares no genetic connection with the baby. In the blog, Hilton revealed that he used an agency to guide him through the process of surrogacy. He shared:
"I used an agency to guide me through the whole process, which can be quite complicated (and expensive). There are no national standardized laws for surrogacy. In fact, many states prohibit it! For my firstborn, Mario, I actually had to have a court-appointed observer interview me, visit my home, and present their findings to a judge. I then had to show up in court myself and petition that judge as to why my own son should be handed over to me upon birth and I given custody."
He further revealed that with his second child, things got a little simpler. He also talked about why it was important for him to have his own biological children and revealed that while he was not against adoption, he felt like having biological children would make him feel like his dad still lives on in them. For the unversed, Perez Hilton lost his dad when he was 15. He concluded his blog saying:
"I love being a dad. More than anything else. I work so hard at it. On some subconscious or conscious level, I think I wanted to have kids on my own. I take parenting very seriously. The thought of an unstable upbringing and constantly shuttling kids between homes is something, if preventable, most parents would want to avoid. I also wanted to have my kids before I got too old. Hopefully, in that next era of my life, I can focus on romance and men."
