The investigation that sparked David Wilcock's death probe

The speculation began after a death investigation in Boulder County was made public. On Monday, April 20, 2026, the Boulder County Sheriff's Department reported that a man experiencing a mental health crisis had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the 1400 block Ridge Road, Colorado. While the identity has yet to be officially revealed, many are convinced that it was none other than David Wilcock.

The coroner’s office has yet to release official details, and neither Wilcock’s family nor representatives have publicly verified his death. Adding to the buzz, news of the 53-year-old star's death was published and reposted by fellow experts and Wilcock's colleagues. Truthseekers host on YouTube, Steven Cambian, wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"#ufotwitter Been on the phone all day with Boulder County police, Boulder county records and the coroner all day. There is no ID or official confirmation yet. It appears David Wilcock may have committed suicide on 4/20/2026. More news as I get it..."

However, not all agree that it was, in fact, David Wilcock, as the officials have not released the official name of the victim. Regardless, some say the paranormal expert had been struggling after his divorce from his ex-wife, Elizabeth Seraphine. Meanwhile, some of Wilcock's colleagues have expressed their condolences about his unexpected demise.

Why the internet is convinced David Wilcock is dead

Despite the lack of identity information in the official documents, many internet users are convinced that the person in question is none other than Wilcock. The death investigation in Boulder County described circumstances that some believe align with the writer's known location. Adding fuel to the buzz, condolence messages mourning Wilcock's death have surfaced, including one from U.S. representative Anna Paulina Luna. The Florida lawmaker wrote on X:

"We just learned of the tragic passing of David Wilcock. We are praying for his family and loved ones and the millions of lives he impacted."

Anna also added a verse from the Bible, John 8:32, which reads, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." While the death reports still remain unverified, posts like this have stirred the buzz, but for others, things just aren't adding up.

What we know about David Wilcock's recent activities before the death probe

If we look at Wilcock's last known public activities, he had been active on his YouTube channel and posted on his X handle hours before his alleged death. The conspiracy theorist had previously opposed the idea of suicide, which now raises more questions about his mental state if the rumours prove true. Just days before the incident, Wilcock reportedly hosted a livestream, mentioning to his audience that he was dealing with some "intense" personal struggles over that weekend.

One of his last social media posts was made on Sunday, April 19, 2026, where Wilcock reiterated the situation with his followers. He thanked everyone for their love and mentioned that he hadn't been doing well, personally. He wrote on X:

"My Dear Family, I am not yet sure if I am doing a show tomorrow. I've had some very intense stuff going on this weekend... Either way, I want you all to know how much I love and appreciate you! Always remember that the Creator is within -- and we live in a loving universe... I am very grateful to you for all of your love, care, and support."

Who is David Wilcock?

Wilcock rose to prominence as a polarising figure in the New Age and UFO circles. The author and lecturer, largely known for his work on the "disclosure movement", claimed that telepathic contact with extraterrestrials was possible, and even suggested that he was the reincarnation of psychic Edgar Cayce. He authored three books, The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?, The Source Field Investigations, and The Ascension Mysteries and Awakening in the Dream, all of which became international bestsellers.

Born on March 8, 1973, in Rotterdam, New York, Wilcock graduated with a degree in psychology from SUNY New Paltz. He had his own website, Divine Cosmos, along with a YouTube channel with more than 500K subscribers. As a UFO and paranormal expert, Wilcock made frequent appearances on the History Channel, including the channel's special, Ancient Aliens. He was a polarising voice in the community, albeit with a massive following, who often drew criticism for promoting conspiracy theories tied to alien life, government cover-ups, and global events.

Despite widespread claims, there is no official confirmation that David Wilcock has died or that he was involved in the Boulder County incident. What is your take on this?
