TMZ recently released photos of Clay Matthews (born William Clay Matthews III) that showed him grocery shopping. No sooner were the photos released than netizens were left simply shocked, given that the former NFL player looked nothing like his former self. This is the same reason why extensive conversation surrounding Clay started doing the rounds, with people questioning whether he chose to enhance his facial features with cosmetic surgery. 

Facial or any kind of surgery to enhance physical features has been a huge topic of discussion among the gossipmongers. Even though a few celebrities admitted to going under the knife, some of them aren't public about it, but the conversation never stops. With Clay Matthews' new photo, the old gossip resurfaced. TMZ released the photos with a confusing caption and the hashtag 'ad'. The caption could be read as:

"Clay Matthews was spotted out grabbing groceries looking VERY different after apparently getting some work done. #ad."

While the photos of Clay Matthews sparked concern among his fans, the accompanying caption caused more confusion. However, it couldn't be confirmed whether Clay Matthews actually underwent surgery. Neither TMZ nor Clay Matthews has shared any statement regarding the viral photos. With the hashtag 'ad', netizens are assured that the photos might not be real. 

On the other hand, TMZ didn't even release any further article to explain what's going on involving Clay Matthews. An X community ran a check on the photos and confirmed they are not real but AI-generated. However, the purpose of such a post from the publication that showed the former NFL player with a completely changed face is unknown. Another clip from the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, featuring Clay Matthews, also made the rounds on social media, in which his face doesn't appear to show the massive changes seen in recent photos, which could be another major clue that the photos might not be real.

Clay Matthews' personal life

Clay Matthews' personal life is also being discussed after recent photos of him surfaced. Clay is a married man. He is married to former HGTV designer Casey Noble. The couple first sparked dating buzz in 2013, and two years later, in 2015, they got married. Clay and Casey have three children together. While the couple keeps their personal life private, a report by Essentially Sports revealed that before meeting Clay, Casey was married; however, she ended things with her former husband in 2010, before even meeting the former Green Bay Packers star.
