The metal is known to remain in various parts of the body after injection. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration had said it was not harmful for healthy people. Well, Chuck Norris' wife, Gena O'Kelley, reportedly had continued to require regular stem cell therapies and other treatment for five years after gadolinium poisoning. "Unfortunately, litigation is the only course of action we can take to hold the drug companies accountable for threatening the lives of so many innocent people who undergo MRIs. These companies continue to say that there is no link between gadolinium and adverse events, even though the evidence is overwhelming that this heavy metal stays in the body for years, rather than hours."

Did Chuck Norris and Gena O'Kelley take back their case in 2020?

Bracco Diagnostics Inc has been one of the largest U.S. subsidiaries of Bracco Imaging in the diagnostics industry. Reports floating on social media revealed that it was in 2020 when the diagnostic imaging business did not make any comment related to the pending litigations as per the corporate policy. However, Bracco had later announced that Chuck Norris and Gena O'Kelley had dismissed the case. Earlier, Gena had claimed that she faced injury from the Bracco's magnetic resonance (MR) contrast agent named, MultiHance (gadobenate dimeglumine) injection, 529 mg/mL. No settlement payment was made, and each party paid their own costs.
