Isabella Damon is the first child of Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso
Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso welcomed their first child together, Isabella, on June 11, 2006, in Miami. According to Damon, becoming a new parent unexpectedly helped his work. While filming The Bourne Ultimatum, he said the director told him he looked “terrible” midway through. Damon explained that he was up all night with the baby, and the director reportedly responded that the timing was perfect and that it was actually helping his performance.
Isabella is also known for teasing her dad about his films. In a July 2021 interview with E! News, Damon said she only watches his movies if the reviews are bad because she’s looking for material to use against him. He described her as one of the funniest people he had ever met and said she was really cool.
Matt also shared that Isabella, like many teens, has been a fan of Harry Styles for a long time. In another conversation with Tara Hitchcock in July 2021, he recalled that for Christmas, his wife Luciana gave a life-size cardboard cutout of Styles, along with a personal video message from the singer greeting her. Matt said that Isabella was thrilled and that it was probably the best gift they had given her.
A few months later in October 2021, Damon said he took Isabella and her two younger sisters to a Styles concert, which he told PEOPLE was a great experience. He noted that he knew every word despite not being the target audience, and added that they had played Styles’ album on repeat during the first lockdown.

Born in 1998, Alexia Barroso is Luciana’s daughter from a previous relationship and was adopted by Matt after they married in 2005. Alexia has stayed out of the spotlight and has been active as a photographer and videographer. Notably, she was in the camera department for the film The Instigators, which was released on Apple TV in 2024. The movie featured Matt in the lead role along with Ben Affleck.
Gia Zavala Damon is the second daughter of Matt Damon. Like her sisters, she has been kept largely out of public life. The family occasionally brings Gia to premieres, including the premiere of The Odyssey, held in London in 2026. Born in 2008, she is 17 years old as of 2026.
Stella Zavala Damon is the youngest child of Matt, born on October 20, 2010. She is 15 years old as of 2026. Just like the other children, Stella has also attended family events and concerts with her father, including the Harry Styles show in 2021.
