VK Singh further shared that the preliminary information suggested poor visibility may have played a role in the crash. He shared that the unfortunate incident could have been due to a visibility issue, during which the pilots often perform a missed approach. He was quoted as saying:

"Primarily, it appears there was no visibility. The pilot made an approach to the runway, carried out a missed approach, and then made another attempt. If a pilot cannot see the runway, he will carry out a missed approach."

Netizens speak against the trolls

After comments mocking Shambhavi Pathak flooded social media platforms, another group of Netizens came forward to defend the late co-pilot. A comment read, "How insensitive are some people? And how easily misogynistic is the majority in this country? A woman co-pilot died in the deadly Baramati crash (RIP), and everyone is now saying all women drivers, pilots, etc are bad and shouldn't be in their jobs?" Another wrote, "Thousands of Indian men who can't grasp the concept of lane changes while driving, or navigate a roundabout, have turned aviation experts because the deceased co-pilot was female. Misogyny always finds its expertise."
