While promoting season 4 of the much-loved series, the actress revealed that she secretly tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Michal Szymanski. Despite her not going into the details about when and where they tied the knot, the news has already left fans curious about her now-husband, Michal.
Who is Juno Temple’s husband Michal Szymanski?
Just like Juno Temple, her husband, Michal Szymanski, is also a famous actor. He might be less familiar to audiences in the US and the UK, but he has appeared on a number of Polish television shows. As per his IMDb profile, Michal’s last onscreen credit is a 2023 crime series.
Coming to Juno and Michal’s relationship, the duo was photographed together for the first time back in 2022. This was when they attended the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022. Notably, it was just the first of their many red carpet appearances that came later on.
For instance, Juno and Michal were once again seen together in the same year when they attended the Emmys together. They also attended the premieres of two of Juno’s projects, Fargo and Venom: The Last Dance.
Although Juno is known for rarely speaking about her love life, the actress briefly mentioned that she was already engaged during a 2024 interview with the Los Angeles Times. She said:
"My dialect coach, Liz Himelstein, did the original Fargo movie and has done every season since. I started working with her while I was shooting Ted Lasso, which was interesting for my fiancé [actor Michal Szymanski]. He was like, 'There's a lot of people in this apartment right now - Keely, Juno and Dot.'"

According to reports, Juno and Michal had first crossed paths during the second season of Ted Lasso. At the time, Michal was working as a driver for her co-star Hannah Waddingham. When Juno took permission from Hannah to date the Polish actor, the couple did their best to sneak in some quality time in between work. Speaking on the TFI Unplugged special with Chris Evans, Juno revealed, "He was driving Hannah, and they had a secret code where I could go and meet them and accidentally Hannah's appointment would run over."
Hannah had joked that Juno and Michal were well-suited for each other. However, she didn't forget to give Michal a stern warning. She said that she told him to “look after my girl or I will punch you square in the face” while adding that “they are the greatest oxygen to each other in the universe.”
During an August 2026 TFI Unplugged episode, Juno finally confirmed that she and Michal were married. Without giving away too many details, the actress simply said “I got married” and that it happened sometime “in the last two years.”
Amid this, a video taken at the premiere of Ted Lasso Season 4 has surfaced where Juno and Michal were asked to pose for photos by the photographers present there. With most of the photographers yelling out things like “Juno! Right here!” someone could be heard saying, “We need to check his ID to make sure he's your husband.” After hearing this, Juno playfully responded, “We met on Ted Lasso!”
Reacting to the news of Juno and Michal’s secret wedding, a fan wrote, “Congratulations to them! Sometimes the best love stories happen away from the spotlight. Wishing Juno Temple and Michal Szymanski a lifetime of happiness together.” Another penned, “Michal Szymanski really pulled off the ultimate Ted Lasso win - scoring a secret wedding with Juno Temple straight off the set!”
