However, just when their fans were impatiently waiting for their wedding, a series of reports speculating that Vidyut and Nandita are no longer together shattered them.
According to a report in IANS, Vidyut Jammwal and Nandita Mahtani attended Deanna Panday’s daughter, Alanna Panday’s mehendi ceremony. However, what was strange was the fact that the two looked quite disconnected throughout the night. As per the report, Vidyut’s reclusiveness is the reason behind his split with Nandita. Although there’s no reaction from both celebrities in the public domain, their breakup reports have already become the talk of the town.

For the unversed, it was on September 13, 2021, when Vidyut Jammwal took to his Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture with his ladylove, Nandita Mahtani to share the news of their engagement with the world. In the picture, the lovely couple can be seen having some adrenaline rush, as they could be spotted doing rock climbing in an adventure park. The amazing engagement announcement received so much love from their respective fans on social media. Along with the picture, Vidyut penned a note in the caption in which he gave a reference to his film, Commando, and it could be read as:
"Did it the COMMANDO way."
It was in July 2022, when an ETimes report claimed that Vidyut Jammwal and Nandita Mahtani were soon going to tie the knot in the coming months. As per the report, Nandita was in London as she was getting prepared for their wedding. Other than this, there were even reports which suggested that Nandita and Vidyut had already tied the knot in a low-key wedding setup, but for the sake of their fans and society, they would be getting married soon. Undoubtedly, it wasn't very pleasant for the fans of Vidyut and Nandita, as the couple neither got married last year nor made any official statement regarding their wedding plans in the media.

Once in an interview with The Indian Express, Vidyut Jammwal opened up about the wedding and shared his thoughts about the way he had planned his wedding. The actor admitted that his wedding wouldn’t be a normal one and instead it would be a ‘spectacularly different’. Vidyut explained that he wasn’t interested in normal things and joked about skydiving with their guests. The actor admitted that his wedding preparations would surely surprise many people. However, when the actor was asked to give a date, the dapper actor refused with a gentle smile.
