No matter how much we try to deny it or move our backs towards it, but the truth is, Indian cinema has witnessed some of the most gorgeous, remarkably talented, and evergreen actresses in the world. Over the decades, we have seen some exceptionally gifted Bollywood actresses, who proved that acting isn't just about delivering dialogues with composure and emotions, but it is also about getting into the skin of your character.

Also, over the years, many Bollywood actresses have managed to dazzle the big screen both with father and son during their acting career. Whether it's an item song or a full-fledged role, numerous actresses took multiple transitions in their acting style to thrive into different generations and proved that they're timeless. #1. Hema Malini with Raj Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor

Legendary actress, Hema Malini had made her debut in Indian cinema with the film, Sapno Ke Saudagar opposite none other than the showman of the Hindi film industry, Raj Kapoor, in 1968 after making her debut in the Tamil film industry with the film, Idhu Sathiyam in 1963. Although many critics still regard Hema and Raj's jodi as an unconventional one. But fans had enjoyed their chemistry to the fullest.

After some years, Hema Malini had romanced Raj Kapoor's son and actor, Randhir Kapoor, in the film, Haath Ki Safai, and their romantic camaraderie on the screen was spot on and had received a lot of praise. Both Hema and Randhir had worked together in films like Naseeb, Censor, Chacha Bhatija, and Ginny Aur Johnny.

#2. Dimple Kapadia with Dharmendra and Sunny Deol

Bollywood actor, Sunny Deol had gotten married in the year 1984, just a year after the release of his first film, Betaab (1983), in a hush-hush wedding with London-based Pooja Deol. In those days there were rumours and speculations about Sunny's affair with actress, Dimple Kapadia and it had surprised everyone. The alleged couple had worked together in films like Arjun, Aag Ka Gola, Manzil-Manzil, Narasimha, and Gunah. Everyone was in love with their chemistry at some time, and soon their affair wasn't a secret anymore.

At that time, everyone was aware of Dimple Kapadia and Sunny Deol's alleged relationship. In 1991, Dimple Kapadia and her alleged boyfriend's superstar father, Dharmendra, were cast opposite each other in the film, Dushman Devta. Although, the film was a box-office bomb but it is still remembered even to this day for Dimple and Dharmendra's kissing scene. Yes! You read it right, Dharmendra had kissed his son's alleged girlfriend, and another shocking thing about this is the sad fact that Dimple wasn't informed about the same. The actress was deeply saddened by the incident, while Dharmendra had stated that he was unaware of Sunny's relationship with Dimple.

#3. Rani Mukherji with Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan

In 2001, Rani Mukherji and Abhishek Bachchan had worked for the first time in the film, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, and everyone had fallen in love with their chemistry instantly. After which, the two had starred in a series of films like Yuva, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, and had quickly become one of the best on-screen pairs of their generation. Everyone had secretly wished for the on-screen Bunty-Babli to turn into a real-life couple, and even the reports were rife that the duo would settle down soon, but nothing had materialised.

Rani Mukherji had also worked with Abhishek Bachchan's father and legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan, in a lot of movies, but it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Black, which is their most famous one because of its incredible story, direction, and iconic lip-lock that had reportedly ended all the speculations of Rani being the bahu of the Bachchan clan once and for all.

#4. Sridevi with Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Nagarjuna

Everyone is aware of the fact that Sridevi was born in Tamil Nadu and had started her journey as an actress in Tamil films. Before moving to Bollywood, the actress had acted in 70 films with some of the renowned actors of that generation. From Kamal Hassan, Mohan Babu, to NT Rama Rao, Sridevi worked as a teenager with a lot of legends of Tamil and Telugu cinema, who were almost in their 60s. Among all, it was her chemistry with Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the film, Premabhishekam that had caught everyone's attention as the two had made a lasting impact in the audience's hearts with her performance.

In 1992, Akkineni Nageswara Rao's son, Nagarjuna had starred in the film, Khuda Gawah alongside Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan. After which, next year in 1993, Govinda Govinda was the film in which Sridevi and Nagarjuna had romanced each other for the first time. The on-screen pair did three more films together, and millions hailed their chemistry.

#5. Reena Roy with Sunil Dutt and Sanjay Dutt

Reena Roy was one of the leading actresses of her generation and had worked with some of the greatest actors of Indian cinema. The actress has worked with legendary actor, Sunil Dutt in a lot of movies. From Muqabla, Badle Ki Aag, Raaj Tilak, to Nagin, Dard ka Rishta, and many more, they had a great chemistry on-screen and a tremendously friendly bond off the screen.

However, not many people are aware of the fact that Reena Roy had also worked with Sunil Dutt's son, Sanjay Dutt, in his debut film, Rocky, directed by his father. The actress had portrayed the character of a rape survivor in the movie and was lauded for her portrayal.

#6. Madhuri Dixit with Vinod Khanna and Akshaye Khanna

When Madhuri Dixit was paired opposite Vinod Khanna by Firoz Khan in the film, Dayavan, everyone was impressed, the way Madhuri had acted opposite Vinod despite their huge age gap. Even today, the kissing scene between Vinod and Madhuri is still regarded as one of the most iconic moments in Hindi cinema. Although, in an interview with a leading magazine in 1993, Madhuri had stated that she regretted doing the kissing scene with Vinod.

After 9 years in 1997, Madhuri Dixit was paired opposite Vinod Khanna's son and one of the leading actors of that time, Akshaye Khanna, in Mohabbat, directed by Reema Rakesh Nath.

#7. Shilpa Shetty With Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan

It's impossible to find any other actress in Indian cinema who is as fit and talented as Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The gorgeous actress has worked in different decades, proving the mettle of her non-ageing trait. The actress has worked with many legends of Indian cinema, and one of them is Amitabh Bachchan, with whom she had worked in Laal Badshah in 1999.

After four years, the gorgeous Shilpa Shetty had starred with Amitabh Bachchan's son, Abhishek Bachchan, in the film, Phir Milenge. The actress had worked with him in Dus and had also done an item number with him in the film, Dostana.

#8. Kajal Aggarwal with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan

Kajal Aggarwal isn't just one of the most recognised South Indian actresses but had also made a name for herself in Bollywood with films like Special 26, Singham, and Singham Returns. The actress has worked with a lot of legendary actors, and one of them is the great Chiranjeevi, whom she had romanced in the film, Khaidi No 150, which was released in 2017.

The gorgeous actress had also romanced Chiranjeevi's son and South Indian superstar, Ram Charan, in a series of movies like Magadheera, Yevadu, Acharya, Govindudu Andarivadele, Naayak, and many more.

#9. Rakul Preet Singh with Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya

There's no doubt that slowly and steadily, Rakul Preet Singh is becoming one of the leading actresses in Indian cinema. The actress had worked with many great actors, and it was only in 2019 when her romantic film, Manmadhudu with South superstar, Nagarjuna had garnered all the attention and applause. The actress had worked with Nagarjuna in many films, sometimes as his love interest and sometimes as a supporting cast on the big screen.

Rakul Preet Singh had also romanced Nagarjuna's son and South Indian actor, Naga Chaitanya, in the film Rarandoi Veduka Chudham released in 2017.

In the late '70s, '80s, and early '90s, legendary actress, Jaya Prada was one of the highest-paid actresses both in Telugu and Hindi cinema. Not many people are aware that the maestro of India cinema, Satyajit Ray, called Jaya "the most beautiful face on the Indian screen". Jaya Prada had worked with many great actors of Indian cinema, but her sweet chemistry with her great friend and superstar, Dharmendra, had something special about it. The actress had worked with him in numerous films, and some of the notable ones are Elaan-E-Jung, Kanoon Ki Zanjeer, Insaaf Kaun Karega, Sherkhan, Kabhi Toh Mohabbat, and the list goes on.

The gorgeous and evergreen actress had also worked opposite Dharmendra's elder son, Sunny Deol and proved that age is just a number for her. The chemistry between Jaya and Sunny in the films like Veertaa, Zabardast, and Main Tera Dushman had received positive response from the critics, and their huge age gap was simply imperceptible.
