The wardrobe stylist penned a note wherein she stated that she has moved forward, and being dragged in the moments of the past feels triggering to her. She also mentioned that she doesn't manage well when it comes to unexpected approaches and confrontation, which is unsettling to her. She also added that with people trying to chase her and her family for something, wherein she is not even involved, doesn't make the situation any easier. Kristin further asked for privacy during this time. An excerpt from her statement could be read as:

"I have taken the time to process my personal experiences and am grateful for the moments that have shaped me. I hope people will remember that the person they have celebrated and been entertained by is, above all, a human being, and deserving of decency too, just like anyone else. I respectfully ask that my family and I be treated with dignity and privacy now and as this process plays out."
