No, we are not talking about any Bollywood superstar actor or actress. We are talking about an almost-two-year-old baby, Taimur Ali Khan. Born to Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan on December 20, 2016, Taimur rules the hearts of millions of people across the globe. Naturally, such a huge name at such a tender age, everyone wants to get there first when it comes to Taimur. And in this digitalised world where everybody wants to up their game, ever wondered what would happen if you see Taimur in an ad commercial or walking down the ramp launching a product? Well, along the same lines, during promotions of his upcoming film, Bazaar, papa Saif Ali Khan was asked what would happen if Taimur promotes his film.
Guess, what? Saif jokingly revealed that every film producer he is working with wants to pitch Taimur in for promotions and marketing. He also revealed that mommy Kareena has asked him to be not so cheap and sell his son. LOL! Saif was quoted as saying, “Every producer I am working with is half-jokingly say, "Haha can we put him (for promotions)". With white in his hair (referring to his look from Baazaar). With Kaalakaandi, they wanted to put rubber bands. In Hunter they want to put that Naga Sadhu wig on this poor guy”.
He further added, “My wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan) says, "Don't be so cheap. You can't sell your son (Taimur). I am like, "Why not? Let's sell him." Seriously yaar, he is any way there on the internet. I am just using this platform to say if anybody has any good nappy ads or anything... at a very reasonable price...it's not reasonable, it's quite expensive actually. And, I won't give him the money also. I'll give him some cash for his education, I am already giving it to him. After this, everyone was in splits, and then, Chitrangda Singh, Saif's co-star from Baazaar, asked him where he would spend his money. To this, Saif replied, “On holidays in Switzerland”.
It’s no wonder that Taimur’s every picture and video, go viral on social media. And wherever he goes, paparazzi follow. A few months ago, Taimur’s nana ji, Randhir Kapoor had said that the way paparazzi obsessively click Taimur, even their maid has become popular. He had said, “Every day I get up in the morning, and I see a picture of my grandson in the newspaper. The paparazzi are permanently stationed below the house. Now, everyone recognises his maid also! That’s because of the paparazzi”.
Talking about the obsession for Taimur on social media by fans and paparazzi, Saif revealed in a recent interview, “Taimur should be freely able to take his evening outing in the park. It becomes difficult in certain situations, but the photographers are really friendly. They are just doing their jobs and they don’t push him or his nanny, which is really kind. They aren’t aggressive so I’m happy”.
Along the same lines, even mommy Kareena once quipped, “I do not like the fact that every day, Taimur’s moves are being monitored and you know, pictures are being out, what he’s doing, what he’s wearing, discussing his hairstyle. But I don’t know how to stop it; they are just following him around”.
In a media interaction, when papa Saif was asked if life has changed post-Taimur, he shared, “Life is finite, right? You don't know how long you have but it's good to move on from things. We've had a lot of fun as a couple alone. Now, with Taimur in our lives, it's a little different but more special and we're certainly ready for it. If you're not ready for it, it can imbalance you. So much changes, in a nice way. Priority wise, very little comes, as I'd rather spend time with Taimur and my family than do almost anything now. That's a change. Just watching him run around gives us a lot of joy. It's nice to see both of us in him”.
