Speaking of Virushka, they got married on December 11, 2017, and yesterday it was their first Karva Chauth together. We all were curious to know how Virat and Anushka’s auspicious day would be like and when they shared their Karva Chauth pictures on social media, it all went viral. Virat captioned the picture, “My life. My universe. Karvachauth”, and Anushka wrote, “My moon, my sun , my star , my everything. Happy karva chauth to all”. Like always, we can’t keep our eyes off this stunning couple. And what makes them even more stunning is that like their wedding, they wore a Sabyasachi outfit for their first Karva Chauth. Sabyasachi also shared the above pictures on his Instagram handle and revealed the outfit to the world by writing, “Anushka Sharma @anushkasharma in a yellow hand-printed georgette saree with a hand embroidered silk blouse for her first Karva Chauth. Virat Kohli @virat.kohli wore a tussar georgette textured kurta with resham Kashmiri embroidery”.

Well, if there is one couple who can nail their looks on any occasion, it has to be Virushka, right? Virat and Anushka always speak reverently of each other. In an interview earlier, when Virat was asked about his wife, Anushka, he replied, “I have realized a lot of things in the past few years since I've been with my wife. Because she is a very spiritual person and I have sort of drifted on that path as well. She is a lovely and simple person and she is as honest as well just like I am. And that is what I love about her the most. That is my biggest attraction towards her”.
In fact, there was a time earlier, when his fans used to criticise Anushka for Virat’s poor performance on the grounds. Viart had then come out in the front and defended her by saying, “Shame on those people who have been having a go at anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what i do with my sport”.
And guess what? After India won the series against South Africa in the Jan-Feb 2018 tour, Virat had said, “My wife has been keeping me motivated throughout, she deserves a lot of credit for this. She has been criticized a lot in the past, but she is one person who has kept me going throughout this tour and when times have been tough and I am really grateful for that”.
In another interview, Virat was asked how marriage has affected his life and game, he had replied, “Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all”.
