Popular television actress, Tanvi Thakkar announced her first pregnancy with her actor-husband, Aditya Kapadia, on January 1, 2023. While announcing the wonderful news, Tanvi and Aditya shared a mesmerising picture in which they confirmed their pregnancy reports in the filmiest way possible. Since then, they’re receiving loads of blessings and congratulatory messages from their loved ones and fans across the nation.
In an interview with ETimes, Tanvi Thakkar opened up about the kind of emotions she is experiencing at the moment. Answering the same, she admitted that pregnancy is a wonderful phase to be in and shared that she is just extremely grateful to God for this. The actress was also asked whether she and Aditya had planned their first pregnancy or if it was just a decision purely out of love. Answering the same, the actress admitted that neither she nor Aditya ever thought of planning their pregnancy. However, she added that when they started thinking about it, it finally happened. She said:
"Aditya and I are blessed. We never planned this, but we had just started thinking about it and it happened."

In the same interview, Tanvi Thakkar also talked about the initial days of her pregnancy and revealed that she was working on the sets of her show, Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein. However, after a few weeks into her pregnancy, Tanvi started feeling the problems every woman faces during this phase. Reflecting on the same, the actress revealed that after she started feeling uncomfortable while working on the sets, she consulted with her doctor, and the latter advised her to stop working. She explained:
"The initial weeks of pregnancy were tough. I was shooting for Ghum Hai... a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't feeling well, so had to go to the doctor. He suggested I take a break."
Further in the interview, Tanvi Thakkar also praised her husband, Aditya Kapadia, for taking exceptionally good care of her during pregnancy. The actress revealed how her hubby wakes up in the middle of the night to check whether she’s fine or not. After weeks of rest at home, Tanvi is once again back on the sets and is working again. Reflecting on the same, Tanvi added that she is blessed to return to the shooting sets finally. She said:
"Aditya has been taking good care of me. I am the anxious one but in the last few weeks, Aditya has been anxious and wakes up every hour at night to check if I want something. I have been taking it easy and now after many weeks, the doctor has finally allowed me to go back to work. Ideally I want to work till the last day of my pregnancy."

For the uninitiated, when Tanvi Thakkar and Aditya Kapadia had announced their pregnancy, the couple did a collaboration post on Instagram. They posted a picture in which they could be seen twinning in olive-coloured T-shirts. While on Tanvi’s T-shirt, it was written, ‘Promoted to mommy’, on Aditya’s T-shirt, ‘Promoted to daddy’ was written. Along with the picture, Tanvi and Aditya had penned a caption, and it could be read as:
"From 2022 to "3"."
On the professional front, Tanvi Thakkar is currently working on the show, Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein.
