Life is not always the same and it can’t be a bed of roses all the time. If one day you are happy with everything going right in your life, you never know, what the other second holds for you. Moreover, sometimes what you think is right might not be for the ones you are living with. Exactly this has been the case with Hrithik Roshan’s sister and Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan’s daughter, Sunaina Roshan. In the past few months, she has been juggling from her bad health to instability in life. Things are not going fine with her from the last couple of months.
It is also to be mentioned here that Sunaina was recently applauded for her commendable weight loss transformation. Sunaina had lost a whopping 60 kilos with the help of Bariatric surgery. And for the ones who don’t know, she is also a cancer survivor. She was once suffering from cervical cancer, but soon she came out as a winner and is cancer-free today. Lately, rumours were rife that Sunaina has turned bipolar and she was even hospitalised. When an online portal, Pinkvilla had contacted her to confirm about her being hospitalised, she was baffled to hear the same and was quoted as saying, “I really don’t know who is spreading these rumours but I was touched by my well-wishers who asked about my health! I have not been hospitalized getting any kind of treatment to forget psychological. I also want to clarify that I am not under any medication. I was out partying with my friends on Sunday night at the Golf Club in Chembur. I came back home to my father’s home (in Juhu) and now I am very much at home. I am surprised that such a well-known publication would carry such news without checking with me.”
In the same interview, when she was further probed if she visited any hospital, she shared, “I was at a London hospital in December for a few weeks for alcohol rehab but I came out clean. After my father got diagnosed with throat cancer, I was with my family to give him my support. He was battling cancer and then, I did not take to any medication. I prayed for his health. Why would I need any medication now and where is the question of being in a hospital arise from?” (Also Check: Dharmendra And Hema Malini Visit The Newborn And Esha Deol In The Hospital With A Box Of Sweets)
Talking about her health and clearing the air if she has turned bipolar, Sunaina retorted, “Being angry and short-tempered does not make you bipolar and nor have I ever suffered or been treated for a bipolar disorder, which causes shifts in mood and energy. I have been maintaining my diet and lost a lot of weight but otherwise, I am physically and mentally completely fine. I wouldn’t have stayed at a hotel these last few days if I wasn’t okay."
Two days back, on June 9, 2019, Sunaina had taken to her Twitter handle and had written, “Sunday thought… Didn’t know that I would have had the opportunity to visit HELL in this lifetime." When asked to clarify her tweet, the 47-year-old remarked, “It’s what I am going through with my family…! It’s living hell. Yes, there are certain issues, but please don’t ask me to talk about this more as it’s about my family and I don’t want them to be affected further. All I can say is that I have been staying in a rented hotel apartment for the past 17-18 days before I came back home to stay in the same building as my parents. While I am staying in their home, I have a separate entrance and a separate floor on which I live.” (Also Read: Vivan Bhathena Becomes A Father For The First Time, Introduces His Little One In Game Of Thrones Way)
Also, in an interview with another online tabloid, SpotboyE, Sunaina shared that she was in the rehab for two months because of alcoholism, which was the result of her failed relationships. She told the portal, “But I came back cured and nursed him back to health. If you recall, I had spoken to you about my father recovering well in time. So, that rehab was a little before that.” Again, clarifying that she has not turned bipolar, Sunaina quipped, “That's rubbish. Now, this is yet another piece of information that someone is wrongly spreading. Remember yesterday a newspaper carried that I was in the hospital under observation, which is when I told you that 'I am okay'. You were the first to clarify. I am fine and definitely not bipolar. But yes, I am having issues.”
Elaborating on it further, she was quoted as saying, “I want to move out of my house and live separately. I cannot live under the constant shadow of my parents. Yeh mat karo. Don't have a drink. Don't meet this guy. Don't meet that guy. I am feeling claustrophobic. My Dad and Mom (Pinky Roshan) are being over-protective. If I have a drink once in blue moon, why would I turn alcoholic again? What's wrong if I go out to party with my friends? what's wrong if I meet up with a guy?” (Checkout: Anand Sonam Ahuja Surprises Sonam Kapoor Ahuja On Her Sets, She Couldn't Stop Blushing, Pic Inside)
And when the interviewer asked her what is preventing her to move out, she said, “No money. I had liked a house in Oberoi Springs (Andheri), but cannot aford the high rent. In fact, I had moved out from my Juhu family home about a month back and was staying in a Bandra hotel. They cajoled me into coming back on Saturday. Now, I cannot go as I don't have any money. If Hrithik can live separately, why can't I?”
She signed off by saying, “I love my parents very much and bas, that's all. While I also understand their perspective, I just want to have my own space and home. They need to trust me. I repeat, I love them very much. Am I asking for anything wrong?”
We wish things sort out soon in Sunaina’s life!
