Veere Di Wedding actress, Sonam Kapoor and her long-time beau, Anand Ahuja have been the talk of the town for their anticipated wedding. Though this much in love couple has also been tight-lipped about their personal life and prefer not to discuss it with everyone, their fans couldn’t help but rejoice about Sonam and Anand’s wedding.

It seems that Sonam and Anand’s much-awaited wedding day isn’t far, and it has been preponed according to the latest reports. A source revealed to the leading media portal, "Neither will it be a destination wedding nor will it take place in May. Sonam and Anand are likely to tie the knot on April 29 in Mumbai."
Earlier the reports suggested that Sonam and Anand will have a destination wedding in Geneva, but now it is said that they will get married in Mumbai. About Sonam and Anand's wedding invitations, earlier a source stated to a media daily, "The date and venue for the wedding have been locked and mass bookings for flights are presently underway. Her dad Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests. There will be sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding."

Sonam and Anand have already sent out the invites for the wedding to their close friends from the industry. Sonam has invited her Veere Di Wedding co-stars Swara Bhasker and Kareena Kapoor Khan. She has invited her BFF Jacqueline Fernandez too. Her star-studded wedding will obviously have her cousins- Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor among the others. Sonam Kapoor’s Dutt biopic co-star, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are also some of the invitees. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are also tying the knot this year as per the reports, will be attending Sonam and Anand’s wedding. The source further added, "The nuptials will be preceded by an engagement ceremony attended by the family’s inner circle but the venue for that is presently not known." However, when the bride-to-be, Sonam Kapoor was asked about her marriage rumours with Anand Ahuja, the Neerja actress was quoted as saying, "Unfortunately, I do not talk about my personal life. I have never commented on that and will not do now. Speculations are rife but that is okay. I won’t ever discuss it." Soon-to-be-bride, Sonam Kapoor confessed, "Being around Anand makes me very happy." When asked why she is so private about her life and not talk about her beau, she asserted, "Because that’s in my control and I don’t feel that I can speak about myself but I don’t think it’s okay for me to speak about somebody else. Now everything that is put out there is with his permission or whatever he puts out there is with my permission. But if somebody is asking me a question publicly I don’t think it’s okay for me to speak about the person because that person has not signed up for it. This is just keeping it a little sacred. Just keeping it in my control, whatever is out there is in my control, it’s not something that is not. I just feel that it’s not okay to talk about it. I will share whatever I have to share and that is with my filter."
While an official confirmation is still awaited from the Kapoors and Ahujas, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s fans are waiting to see them as bride and groom!
