Bigg Boss 14 contestant, Sonali Phogat was known for calling a spade a spade throughout her stint in the controversial show. In a tragic turn of events, the actress-turned-politician took her last breath on August 23, 2022. The 43-year-old had gone to Goa for a shooting, where she suffered a heart attack.
There are various reports pertaining to Sonali’s death as her close ones claimed that she was murdered. Sonali’s elder sister, Rupesh stated that she was poisoned as during her last call to her mother, Sonali said that she felt uneasy. And now, Sonali’s brother has levied serious allegations on her PA.

As per the latest reports, Sonali’s brother, Rinku Dhaka stated that the actress was raped by her PA, Sudhir Sangwan, and his friend, Sukhwinder. Claiming that her food was intoxicated, Rinku stated that Sudhir also blackmailed Sonali by making her videos. In his complaint to Goa Police, Rinku claimed that Sonali was raped multiple times by Sudhir, who also handled her finances and paperwork. He further claimed that she was killed for her property. Sudhir also had access to Sonali’s phone, ATM cards, property papers and house keys.
Earlier, Sonali’s sister, Rupesh had claimed foul play in her death and revealed that Sonali was poisoned. Recalling Sonali’s last words to their mother, Rupesh had shared:
“Our mother spoke with her yesterday and Sonali told her, ‘Mummy, I am feeling slightly upset in the stomach. I can sense some problem soon after eating my food as if somebody was doing something to me.’ Sonali also said that she was feeling as if something was not alright and as if some conspiracy was being played on her and as if somebody was doing something to her.”

Sonali Phogat had got married to a politician named Sanjay Phogat. After some years, Sonali and Sanjay had embraced parenthood and welcomed a baby girl into their lives, whom they had lovingly named, Yashodhara Phogat. However, in 2016, Sanjay was found dead in Hisar under mysterious circumstances.
In an interview with ANI, Sonali’s 15-year-old daughter, Yashodhara Phogat demanded justice for her mother and had said:
“My mother deserves justice. The case requires proper investigation and the culprits should get strict punishment.”
