Taapsee Pannu grabbed much of limelight quite recently, as reports about her hushed-up wedding with long-time beau, Mathias Boe surfaced on the internet. The couple got hitched on March 22, 2024, in a dreamy destination wedding in Udaipur. Sometime back, several glimpses from the duo’s wedding celebrations came afloat, and they surely spoke volumes about their special moments. And now, Taapsee made her first appearance post wedding.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we spotted a glimpse of the newly-married Taapsee Pannu, as she was snapped out and about in the city. The diva seemed to be in a hurry, and didn’t seem to wait and pose for the paparazzi. For her OOTD, Taapsee sported a black tank top teamed with a beige-hued slit skirt. She paired it all with a white graphic printed shrug. A low ponytail hairdo and no makeup completed her look. However, it was her newly-married glow that was unmissable.

Previously, in an interaction with HT City, Taapsee Pannu opened up about her decision to keep her wedding with Mathias Boe private. The actress stated that other than her close friends and family, she is not interested in involving any other person in the sphere of her personal life. Taapsee added that while she is a celebrity, her husband, Mathias isn’t bound for media scrutiny. In her words:
“I just am not very sure if I want to let my personal life and the people involved in it, go through the kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married. It’s me who has signed up for this, not my partner, not the people who were involved in the wedding. I am not sure about how I feel about it being out there, that’s why I’ve kept it to myself.”
In the same conversation, Taapsee talked about the idea of dropping pictures from her wedding with Mathias Boe on the internet. She mentioned how she doesn’t want such a special moment of her life to become a subject of public scrutiny, and thus she avoided making any posts on social media. She further expressed:
“I just didn’t want to make it a public affair, because then I will start getting worried about how it is perceived, rather than really enjoying the way I would want to do it. Subconsciously, I would start thinking about how it feels from the outside which I did not want to think about, especially for this one thing, because it’s hopefully happening once in life!"

In a viral video of Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe’s wedding, the diva could be seen dancing to the tunes of a popular bridal song by Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh, as she entered the venue. Speaking about her attire, she donned a red Patiala suit, featuring gold embellishments all over it. She paired it with a matching dupatta, featuring a broad kiran border. Opted to wear a pair of huge kaleeras in gold hue, and braided her hair and decorated it with a parandi and matha-patti. The groom, Mathias, on the other hand, looked dapper in a rose pink-hued sherwani, paired with matching doshala and a turban.
