Sohail Khan opens up that his weight loss happened due to his health issues
Sohail Khan, aged 55, was recently seen at the wrap-up party show of Alliance. He sparked a lot of major concerns among fans due to his noticeable weight loss. Some social media users thought that the actor was dealing with health issues and that the GLP-1 weight-loss drugs were behind it. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sohail shared that his weight loss was due to the health issues he had faced after entering the reality show. In his words:
"I got a bit claustrophobic in the first few days, as it was my first time being a part of a reality show. A stomach bug added to that in the first week itself of entering the house. I must tell you, the love and concern, not only about my health, but at any given time by contestants, made me stay in for five weeks, though I was unwell in the first itself.”

Sohail Khan stated that his illness had made him very cautious about his diet. He shared that he did not want his health to affect his reality show venture. A user questioning Sohail's appearance wrote, "Yeah right! I don’t know why people are ashamed to admit they're taking Ozempic; it’s meant to help you get healthy, but if you take it the wrong way, this is what happens. Love you, sir, but please be honest."
Another user felt that Sohail Khan was under stress, as the user wrote, "Stress is enough to make a man weak. From round face to V-line. His face is screaming Ozempic. I have seen a few skeletors from Ozempic; they all have the same jazz. Sohail Bhai mein puncture ho gya hai. Hawa nikal gayi hai. Some people better not lose weight. He looks older than he actually is. Looking very weak, not good-looking, though."
Sohail Khan defended himself by stating that he just needed to control what he ate. He stated that in Alliance, the actor faced new challenges with friends and family. He claimed to have not used Ozempic in his weight loss journey and stated:
"So no Ozempic, no fat burners, I’m only taking pure and loads of love and affection from everyone."
The topic around Sohail Khan's weight had also come up when his brother, Salman, entered The Alliance show to show his support. Salman stated that Sohail had earlier lost 12 kg. Conversations about his health intensified when pictures and videos of the actor from The Alliance party surfaced on social media.
Netizens thought that Sohail was experiencing a side effect from the weight-loss medicine he had taken. They even thought that he was doing hardcore dieting. On the flip side, when Sohail's ex-wife, Seema Sajdeh, entered the house, he stated that his own behaviour had a big role in their separation. Sohail stated that there was a time when his work was not going well at all, and he was not in the right state of mind. Due to his behavior, he lost someone he loved the most.
