Sohail Khan Makes A Confession About His Divorce From Seema Sajdeh, Says, 'I Have Lived With This..'

For the unversed, Kunal Kemmu’s show premieres on Amazon Prime Video. Recently, Sohail’s ex-wife, Seema Sajdeh joined the show as a wild-card, leaving their fans excited about their equation. However, Sohail surprised everyone, when he made a shocking confession about their divorce in the latest promo.
Sohail Khan takes the entire responsibility of his and Seema Sajdeh’s divorce
In the latest promo of Alliance, Sohail Khan was seen talking about his ex-wife, Seema Sajdeh. During the same, when Kunal Kemmu asked Sohail Khan on how he is feeling after seeing his ex-wife, he described it as ‘lovely’. Further, talking about their divorce, Sohail Khan took the entire responsibility and apologised for his actions. He was quoted as saying:
"Lovely. I have lived with this beautiful lady for 25 years, and let me admit on national television: agar koi bhi galti hui hogi humare beech mein, I take the responsibility."
Sohail Khan’s confession left all his co-contestants whistling for him. Seema Sajdeh replied to it with an ‘aww’, whereas Kushal Tandon asked other contestants, "Seeti maar de." It is worth mentioning that ever since their divorce, Sohail and Seema have not spoken bad about each other, instead they have supported each other and cherished their memories. Sohail and Seema’s alliance in the reality show might win a lot of hearts online.
The promo instantly went viral on social media and received mixed opinions from netizens. While some praised Sohail’s pure and big heart, others found it to be a PR stunt. One user commented, "Both should stay together." Another user wrote, "Just pr image for mr Sohail." A third user penned, "Women will take publicity even after divorce."
A few days ago, Seema Sajdeh had an interview, during which she revealed that she is hoping to be in the same team as her ex-husband, Sohail in the reality show. She explained, "To be honest, I think he and I will end up on the same team. I would like to think. Abhi kalesh toh uske saath bahut ho gaya hai. So, at least now, after all these years, we will be on the same team. And if we are not an alliance, even I'll be shocked."
Later, in an interview with IANS Live, Seema revealed Sohail Khan’s advice for her, before they joined Alliance. She stated that even though she has done more reality shows than the Bollywood actor, he advised her to ‘be yourself’ and not get bullied. Seema Sajdeh said:
"We had a conversation. He just said, 'Be yourself.' I also told him, 'Just be yourself'. Actually, this is his first reality show. I have done reality shows already, so I should have given him advice. Sohail said, 'Whatever happens, don't get bullied.' My answer was, 'You're there now'."
Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh parted ways after 24 years of marriage
For those who do not know, Sohail and Seem were once the most talked about couples of Bollywood. They tied the knot in 1998; however, they decided to part ways in 2022. During their marriage, they welcomed two sons, Nirvaan and Yohaan. Today, the pair continues to co-parent their children. As of 2026, Seema is in a relationship with Vikram Ahuja.
It is worth mentioning that after divorce, Seema often spoke about the separation; however, Sohail Khan maintained a dignified silence. Years later, in 2025, he had a conversation with TOI, during which he revealed:
"When the husband and wife start fighting, it only affects the children. The ego that the husband and wife have, they don’t realise that it affects the children, and then the children start getting disturbed… Then your children will grow up to be disturbed human beings. That is what me and Seema decided—that we didn’t want that."
