Shahid Kapoor surprised everyone when he announced his intimate marriage with Delhi-based girl, Mira Rajput. Ever since Shahid got married, the actor is on cloud nine and has been heaping praises on his wife for turning his bachelor pad into a home. In a recent interview, the actor spoke about how a woman fixes a messed-up man.
In an interview for the show, Spill The Tea with Sneha, Shahid Kapoor talked about his take on marriage. Speaking on how a man gets fixed after a woman enters his life, the actor said:
“It is just one thing and is that the guy was a mess and the woman came into fix him. So the rest of his life is going to be a journey of being fixed and becoming you know, just a decent person. That’s pretty much what life is about.”

As soon as Shahid Kapoor’s video was posted on social media, netizens started trolling the actor for his take on marriage. Some called him a manchild, others tagged him as a misogynist. One of the users comment can be read as, “So raising a manchild, is what marriage is ??? Amazing.” Another wrote, “So women are marrying projects and not partners?”
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor have raised the bar of couple goals with their adorable bond. The poster couple of arranged marriages, Shahid and Mira tied the knot on July 7, 2015. Their 13-year age difference had raised quite a few eyebrows, but their camaraderie had proved that they are made for each other. Together, they are doting parents to two adorable kids, Misha and Zain.

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor revealed that he had only one plate and two spoons when Mira Rajput moved in with him after their marriage. In the same interview, he also mentioned that Mira was shocked to see her husband had been living with bare minimum essentials. Recalling the moment, the actor revealed that Mira was worried about how they would host the guests at their home.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in the thriller film, Bloody Daddy!
