The most blissful feeling in this world is perhaps to become a parent. The joy of holding your little munchkin for the first time in your hands is priceless, and many of our favourite Bollywood celebrities have been through the same feeling. With the advent of social media, we often get to know about our celebrities' cutesy moments with their kids. And the latest addition in this spree is Shahid Kapoor and his little munchkin, Zain Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor became parents for the first time in August 2016 when their beautiful angel, Misha Kapoor arrived in their lives. And then, on September 5, 2018, Shamira (as fans affectionately call this awesome twosome) were blessed with a baby boy, Zain Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood, and naturally, due to his professional commitments he might not be able to give so much time to his kids- Misha and Zain.
But his latest post on social media speaks of a different tale. Shahid Kapoor is a doting father and every time we stumble upon his picture with Zain Kapoor, we can't help but get glued to our screens. Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram yesternight on April 30, 2019, and shared a #shadyboys video. In the video, we can see the doting father using filters and adding specs to Zain's face, and then to his. Undeniably, this father-son looked dapper wearing goggles! Various celebrities have commented on this awww-dorable video but first, take a look at it:
On the above video, Sonakshi Sinha has commented, "He's so cute duuuude... how is he yours??? Obv gone on mommy," Ishaan Khatter and Siddhanth Chaturvedi left heart-emojis as comments, Malaika Arora wrote, "Too cute," and guess what? Even Zain Kapoor's daadi, Nellima Azeem commented on the above post by writing, "This is the most adorable twosome."
Shahid Kapoor, on March 9, 2019, had also shared a super-adorable post of himself cuddling little Zain on his shoulders. Shahid had beautifully captioned the picture as, “The Sun”. Take a look:
Speaking about Zain Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor was once quoted as saying, “Zain is a very disciplined baby, sleeps on time, gets up on time. Mira is a very sorted mom. So, no trouble this time." He had further said, "The first time we had Misha we were very paranoid parents, so a lot of sleepless nights happened. So I think we were a lot more settled this time. Honestly, this time I had no trouble. She [Mira] is very mature otherwise she wouldn't have been able to deal with all that has happened in her life.”
On September 11, 2018, a week after Zain Kapoor was born, it was reported that Shahid Kapoor hadn't slept for days because Misha Kapoor was unwell, and Mira Rajput Kapoor was recovering post-delivery of Zain. A source was quoted as saying to a media portal, “Shahid hasn’t slept a wink for the past 30-35 hours as he is taking care of his daughter Misha who is keeping unwell. He even cancelled his shoot for India’s Best Dramebaaaz as he wanted to be there for Mira, who is currently recovering post-pregnancy, Misha and their baby boy Zain. Shahid then himself took to his Twitter and had tweeted, “The last few days have been tough. Misha running a very high fever and Zain just came home. Have had to miss some promotions. Just 9 days to go for Batti Gul meter chalu to release but being a parent is above all else. Hope to resume promotions very soon.”
Zain Kapoor's grandmother, Nellima Azeem had revealed how 'Big Sister' Misha had reacted on welcoming Zain. Neelima ji had revealed, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely. All the credit goes to Mira and Shahid."
Opening up about his marital life post becoming a father to two kids, Shahid had shared last year, “You discover yourself. You discover your domesticated side as a man. It is a reality. You can't get through marriage without being an obedient puppy dog sometimes. It is required. It is part of the job profile. You want to live a happy life, you have to listen to your wife. without a doubt.”
Shahid had also once shared what kind of father he is. He had revealed, “My wife tells me that I am a little obsessive and protective and that I need to calm down a little bit. I tell her that she is too casual.
