Shah Rukh Khan and his darling wife, Gauri Khan are one of the most loved couples in Tinseltown. The duo, who have enjoyed over 32 years of togetherness, never skip a chance to shed sheer couple goals whenever they are spotted together. While they might not be into mushy PDA’s, their undying love and respect for one another is totally visible. For the unversed, the duo got married in the year 1991 and have been blessed with three children, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
Recently, a user on Reddit re-shared some pictures on the discussion portal, dating back to SRK and Gauri’s wedding. The pictures were first shared on the show, Jeena Isi Ka Ka Naam Hai and have now found their way again to social media. In the pictures, we spot the young couple, Shah Rukh and Gauri enjoying a great time with their friends and family amidst their wedding festivities. Moreover, the duo was also spotted engaging in a happy dance with one another, and the moment made us totally nostalgic.

The king of romance, SRK is one of the most-loved actors when it comes to expressing emotions of love on-screen. Each of his romantic films tugs a chord in the hearts of his fans, even today, who cannot stop obsessing over them. Interestingly, his real-life love story was also no different. SRK had crossed paths with Gauri during their college days. A case of love at first sight, the duo fell head-over-heels in love, and even started planning on getting married. However, Gauri’s parents were at first totally against their relationship, since SRK belonged to a different religion, and was also merely a budding actor. Nevertheless, they never lost hope and Shah Rukh was finally able to win them over. They tied the knot on October 25, 1991.
While attending an award show, Shah Rukh Khan had once recollected a quirky memory from their honeymoon. Well, the award’s host, Vicky Kaushal showed him an old picture of Shah Rukh and Gauri from their honeymoon, and asked the former to reveal the backstory about it. To this, SRK mentioned how he was able to trick Gauri on their honeymoon, and took her to Darjeeling, after promising to take her to Paris. He had mentioned:
“This is my favourite picture...When I got married, I was very poor while Gauri was middle-class, well-to-do. So like how usually everyone does, I had promised her that after we get married, 'I'll take you to Paris and show you the Eiffel Tower'. But obviously, it was all a lie because neither I had the money nor I had the air tickets but somehow I convinced her.”

Apart from being a totally dedicated family man, Shah Rukh Khan is a talented and committed actor. Proof of the same was found in one of his old videos, where he could be seen assuring his wife, Gauri to stop worrying about his irregular sleeping patterns, owing to erratic work schedules. He was seen saying:
“Just let go of all this. You have known me for too many years to be discussing my sleep patterns. You just relax. Main itna toh kar lunga. Mai 44 years ka hu, itne toh handle kar lunga na.”
