And one such quintessential example of a relationship between a stepmother and her stepchildren is of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan. Despite a huge age gap, Saif Ali Khan and Armita Singh’s fling led to their marriage in October 1991. But after 13 years of blissful married life and two kids, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan, the couple separated in 2004. Saif later went on to marry his Tashan co-star, Kareena Kapoor on October 16, 2012, after dating her for five years. Kareena shares a cordial relationship with Sara and Ibrahim and we have time and again seen their bond through pictures or their statements in interviews.

Kareena Kapoor? But do you know apart from us, who else aspires Poo and is a die-hard fan of her? Well, it’s none other than Kareena Kapoor Khan’s real-life stepdaughter, Sara Ali Khan!
Sara Ali Khan is a self-proclaimed Poo fan. During the promotions of her debut film, Kedarnath, in an interview with Red FM, Sara revealed how Kareena has influenced her and the one thing she likes the most about her stepmom, Sara said, “Ki woh unki favourite hai. (That she is her own favourite person) 'Main apni favourite hoon!' I have grown up watching K3G. I sometimes can't associate her beyond Poo. It's really shocking.”

During her interview on Famously Filmfare, Sara, who is a major fan of Kareena's character Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, could not control her excitement over having Bebo as her stepmother. In a short clip from the interview, Sara asked the interviewer to say it again that ‘Poo is your stepmother.’ Sara gushed with a big laugh, “Can you imagine! Say that again!... Yaa!! I do.” She continued, “People tell me you’ve willed this to happen. You have been such a die-hard Kareena fan that you have willed her into your life and this is what you get.”
Earlier on Koffee With Karan, Sara Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan appeared together and talked about their modern family, sharing how they interact with each other. Sara remarked, “Everyone has been clear about their dynamics with me. It has never been confusing. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kareena gave Sara the sweetest compliment and said, “Sara is a rare combination of beauty and brains and that has happened to the Indian film industry after a long time. She can hold a conversation with anyone and at the same time give a shot in which she’s looking absolutely gorgeous. She has all it takes and I think she will be one of the brightest stars on the screen. I can only hope and pray for the best for her.”
Does Kareena behave like their ‘second mother’ when she is around Ibrahim and Sara? Bebo had stated, “I have always said this to Saif, Sara and Ibrahim that I can only be their friend, I can never be their mother because they already have an amazing mother who’s brought them up spectacularly. I’m meant to be their friend. I love them dearly and whenever I am wanted or my advice needed, I’m there for both at any point in their life.”
Do you know, Sara was in a sheer dilemma about the name by which she will call her step-mom, Kareena. Revealing the same on Koffee With Karan, the Simmba actress said, “I think Kareena would probably have a nervous breakdown if I was going to call her, 'Choti Ma'. She would be like, 'No!' I used to be like, 'What should I call her? Kareena, Kareena aunty' My father's like 'You don't want to call her aunty.
