Since with the film promotions of Kedarnath, Sara has stepped out for the first time and is giving interviews, her excited followers want to know everything about her, from family to first experiences in Bollywood. She is flooded with questions about her royal family, including her father, Saif Ali Khan’s second wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her half-brother, Taimur Ali Khan.
Recently, during an interaction with a popular radio channel, Sara was asked what is the cutest thing that Taimur does when he sees her. To which, she revealed that the little munchkin calls her “Gol”. She further went on to reveal that Taimur calls Kareena as Amma, Saif as Abba and Ibrahim as Bhai. But when the RJ asks her why Taimur calls her Gol, and is it because she is “Golu”, it shocks Sara as she wonders if she is “Golu”. To which, Sara's Kedarnath co-star Sushant intervened and said that Taimur must be calling her 'Gold' as she is for the film fraternity which makes the newcomer blush.
In another interaction with Red FM, when Sara was asked about her step-mom, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her influence on her, she revealed, "Ki woh unki favourite hai. (That she is her own favourite person) 'Main apni favourite hoon!' I have grown up watching K3G. I sometimes can't associate her beyond Poo. It's really shocking." Sara is a huge fan of Bebo's character Poo, from the film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. (Also Read: Aaradhya Bachchan Celebrates Her Seventh Birthday With The Entire Bachchan Parivaar, Pictures Inside)
During the trailer launch of Kedarnath, Sara revealed the quality she wants to imbibe from Kareena, "Kareena Kapoor Khan is amazing in the way she works and is extremely professional. If there is anything, I would like to learn from her is the professionalism. I would like to imbibe her professionalism in me."
The proud daddy, Saif Ali Khan had a few great things to say about his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, "I have given her so many pieces of advice. I told her to be honest and to find what is special inside her and not to be like other people. She understands all of this. She always wanted to be an actor and I think she will be great. We worry about children as this profession has so much drama to it. So I had thought she will do some normal job because she is a brilliant student, but I guess nobody wants that."
Talking about her inspiration for the weight-loss journey, Sara gave credit to Indian Idol 10 judge-singer Neha Kakkar and said, "I am a big fan of Neha Kakkar as she is a great singer, I really love her songs. It's a fan moment for me. I was so excited before coming on Indian Idol 10 to meet Neha. I have been listening to her songs for a long time. Her songs actually helped me to lose weight. I used to run on the treadmill listening to some of her hit songs on repeat mode."
Sharing if her father, Saif was supportive of her to join the film industry, Sara stated to PTI, "My father used to say I should finish my studies first before entering films. He was fully supportive if I wanted to do films but wanted me to study first. When I got a chance to be a part of 'Kedarnath', I liked the script so much I knew I had to do it."
