A father is the biggest blessing in a child's life. He knows how to lighten the mood when mom's scolding brings tears in the eyes of his little munchkins. He is an unsung hero who often acts as a sidekick to raise his kids better. Nowadays, the daddy bears across the world are actively taking part in the lives of their kids, and they are giving a fierce competition to momma bears with baby duties. And a perfect example of it is Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt, who is keen on establishing a strong bond with his kids. The actor had a strange bond with his father, Sunil Dutt. While his father taught him a lot, there was a time when he had feared his dad. And he is making sure that his kids never go through the same journey. We remember in a media interaction, Sanjay had shared that he is extremely proud of his three children, Trishala, Iqra and Shahran and always look forward to spending time with them. Currently, the actor is in Mumbai and his wife, Maanayata Dutt and their twins, Iqra and Shahran are in Dubai.
On July 29, 2020, Sanjay Dutt turned a year older, and his nine-year-old, daughter Iqra made sure to make his day super special. The little girl baked a special cake for him and her mother, Maanayata, helped her. The star wife took to her Instagram stories and shared glimpses of the baking process. Check it out below:
Maanayata also penned a birthday wish for her husband, Sanjay Dutt. She posted a picture with him on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Happy birthday love. love you." In an interview with Etimes, Maanayata had talked about how difficult the lockdown has been for them. She had shared that things would be different if her husband, Sanjay Dutt was with her in this lockdown, and had said, "I just wish we were together as a family and not living in different countries. Things would definitely have been easy and lockdown wouldn't have looked like a task as this would have been the perfect time for Sanjay to spend time with the kids. So this is something I regret a little. The lockdown was sudden and unexpected, so being away from home feels bad but in the end, we make the most of it."
Maanayata had also revealed how she is keeping her kids entertained inside the house and had said, "The first few days were a little crazy and they did get irritated about the sudden impositions, but they are very understanding kids. The best part is they have online video classes for good 5-6 hours daily as part of their school curriculum. I always carry a stock of children reading books with me whenever I am travelling. We were in UAE when the lockdown was imposed, so thankfully books have helped too. And since Sanjay is back home (In Mumbai), the kids often video call him and they keep themselves entertained. The boys - Sanjay and Shahraan - continue with their normal masti and they keep themselves occupied."
